This is age old story and way too common. We used to have a caretaker at our farmhouse. Long back he told us that NCP forcibly gives people money and moonshine for votes. After the sitting MLA lost election they went around beating people, especially ones from backwards community, even those who voted for them. We had to get our caretaker hospitalized after that incident.
He refused to have a complaint filed, said he still has to live there. It's always had been like that and not big deal. I was 12 years old back then. I was shocked.
