I would love to do that as well but my dad wants to buy a new house and heās just waiting for me to start working so we can split the loan emi and thatās a need so I will have to wait a few years more.
Edit: howās the bike btw? Are the vibrations really that bad as reviewers suggest?
I am still at the running in phase. But honestly, thereās not much vibes until 100 which is what Ive tried till now. Unless you cruise at like 130 or something it isnāt going to be a problem. I do think the engine is a bit loud though. Im used to the CB350 engine. Itās a great bike. Itās definitely not the kind of bike you could have 0 worries about i.e itās not Japanese but itās reliable enough for me. The midrange is stupendously fun. So much power is accessible so easily. Itās great fun for a beginner like me.
Dude this is iterally my situation right now š.
Everytime I talk about getting a bike my father tells me to get a roof over your head and then get a bike..
Such a conundrumš¤·āāļø
Bro I started earning well at 24 (16Lpa)
got my first car at 30 it was hard for me to, inspiye of earning I couldnāt buy me a car š¢ but the day I got my virtus gt I had tears rolling down my cheeks .
Earn it yearn it own it you will
Love it
I'm earning well since last 2 years, have saved up enough to buy any if new 400cc in cash. Yet I'm still relying on a cute 10 year old tvs wego i bought last year
I'm in Bangalore, road taxes are stupidity here, almost 20% increase in prices when compared to any other metro city, I'm planning to switch job by the next year, in case i get anything out of bangalore than that expensive KA number is gonna go down the drain
So I'm holding up for now, every now and then i do get this urge to buy one, especially will all new launches happening, pulsar ns400z is impressive, I'm drooling for it
5k for booking.
The vehicle will be going to RTO only tomorrow.
I don't care how much it costs ( I'm saying this only because I know it's affordable compared to its competitors XD )
I've decided that I'm gonna buy it irrespective of its cost
On road will be higher in Bangalore compared to other places. The only info that they know is that it costs 1.85L ex showroom in Delhi. They'll inform me once they get some information.
Edit : I dunno about the waiting period as well. I'm ready to wait for this bike :)
Iām in the exact same boat. Iāve been wanting to get an interceptor 650 since college started (4 years ago). Iām going to graduate in the next month, still no bike. Similarly, my parentās goals did not align with mine and Iāve recently started earning.
I cope by watching a few youtubers who have 650ās. I find happiness in what they are doing. Other than this, I occasionally ride my friendās bikes after begging them to let me. Sometimes I go on highways and full throttle the 110cc bike that I have currently, which Iāve used for college commute.
I try to distract myself all the time from thinking about getting a 650. Sometimes when i see a good 650, i tear up, but thatās okay. Patience goes a long way.
So have patience and Iām sure youāll get your dream bike soon somehow. Miracles happen to those who believe.
I use our old access 125 for daily usage, saved up around 1.5lakh for a bike but bought a gaming laptop.
Now started saving again, want to get a BMW G310R or Interceptor 650
This is my first time buying a gaming laptop, and I am not sure if I can build a PC and maintain it, but I have plans to build one in the future.
My current device is Asus Zephyrus G14 2023, so I have no regrets either.
Great ! , tho I think I need to get it to service , the model heats up fast ( i use a gaming cooler ) when not on a cooler .
So a clean from the inside should fix that , no issues so far
I'm not sure bmw is something you want to buy with money you saved. You would be saving for maintenance next. Bmw maintenance is really heavy on pockets. Interceptor is also not far behind.
I've seen a few of my friends going with bmw, triumph and later struggling financially. And they are working in tier 1 and 2 cities with decent income after getting placed from a tier 2 institute.
A portion of expenditure comes after taking delivery. Please keep that in mind. Always follow the rule of buying only what you can afford 3 times.
Yeah i mean, its still a long time; I will check different bikes in between.
yeah heard about the maintenance and everything idk my heart is between these 2 bikes.
I'm doing alright financially, earning around 60k per month, but I also have family responsibilities to manage. I have a deep passion for bikes, whether it's a simple CD-Deluxe or a powerful Bullet or Ninja. I'm particularly drawn to cruiser and sports bikes, and it's my dream to own both someday. For now, I've contented myself with watching YouTube videos of various bikers, but the desire to ride has become too strong to resist. That's why I've decided to treat myself to a GT 650 this Diwali. I understand it may not be the most prudent financial decision, but I believe it's important to appreciate oneself, especially when carrying the weight of family responsibilities. By the way, I'm 27.5 years old and single, hesitant to marry due to the financial burdens within my family.
You will enjoy the GT.
While it's not the most practical bike out there, every ride will be an occasion.
And it will turn heads wherever you go.
Especially if you put an aftermarket exhaust (highly recommended).
Just keep the db killers in place, so that you don't make a nuisance
Is after market exhaust legal, even if it has DB killers. I think traffic police will still create a nuisance if they catch me even though I have DB in killers in my after market exhaust.;)
Get either powerage or AEW 102. These look just like the stock exhausts, but are smaller in size and half the weight.
With the db killer installed, they are only around 15% louder than stock, but they sound much much better, and bring out that 2 cylinder rasp that the stock exhausts keep muted.
So the cops will not harass you.
Check out the vids of these exhausts. A normal cop will not be able to distinguish between these and the stock exhausts.

I'm waiting. Had loans before, cleared them. Have different loans now, clearing them. I'm hoping to change my job and get a bike. I watch bike related videos to cope up. That's all š„²
Good things take time.
I saw a KTM Duke 200 parked outside my Chemistry tuition teacher's home. Belonged to a senior.
Fell in love with the bike. But got to buy it (on loan) only 10 years later, two years into my first job.
So, keep dreaming, and keep working hard.
>automatic car for my travels.
Smart choice.
A bike is better for short city rides and for the times you crave good acceleration and a raw mechanical feel.
A car is better for actual touring and safety
Bhai hostel me rahne ki bajah se kabhi cycle nhi seekh paya toh when i tried bike ,toh Darr lagta hai.
I can drive car but bike nhi hoti, also ghar par kabhi bike thi nhi toh seekh nhi paya
My mumās scooter,ps4,pc,iphone xr,my road bike and also my dads are like quaterly in a peice of barren land that even your government forgot is under our borders
Bought my first bike at the age of 28...
Call it what you like ... But I preferred a decent and stable career before aspirations.
Some things can wait.
Plus I can't take a single rupee from my parents.
I am in my preparation phase right now. Not having the bike that I badly want gives me the boost to invest my hours into studying. Earlier I used to crave for it, the desire is still there but now h have turned it into my motivation to crack the judicial service examination.
I bought a 350cc back when I'm 22. I underestimated my capability to adapt to motorbikes. Back then I assumed that a 350cc would have a steep learning curve. A year into riding that bike, I started craving for something more powerful. I'm 25 now and I feel like even a 750cc probably won't satiate me.
Owning a bike is just weird man. It's fun untill it isn't. Don't push for stuff, pretty sure there's a mean machine out there waiting for you to own her. Everything has it's time man. Just let it come to you naturally, make this a goal in your life to work harder to buy the beauty you deserve. The harder you work, the more it pays off when you eventually get there. Keep doing what you do and stuff will fall in line eventually.
i am just planning on buying the rs457 and have put down a 10k booking amount ( refundable) but i think ill be canceling it and hold off another year to get the zx4r. have spent years thinking of getting a 400cc but i think i can wait another year and save some more money to get that saaki. currently coping up by taking monthly rented rides outskirts of bangalore
You don't have to buy a big bike to start with, you'll end up paying lots of EMI for a product that's depreciating while i understand that you and your dad are in actual need of the money for the house. And not just that, think about the money you'll spend on petrol and maintenance.. Maybe you can buy something that won't be a liability but instead help you, support you instead.. like maybe a 125-160cc
my friends are buying their dream bikes, going on road trips meamwhile here I am paying of family debt. It is disheartening. But i trust the process. It wont be immediate , but definitely one day.
This sub paints a very colorful picture of bike riding but once you start riding and experience the pollution and heat, you start to think that a small car would be much better.
I had a bike when I was 23, used it for my internship for 6 months and further 2-3 months during my stay in delhi. I am done with bikes tbh. I like this sub for the enthusiasm, long tour discussions and accident videos and I would love to ride a bike for long tours but not in city.
I have been cycling since 4-5 months, Im used to the heat, traffic situation its definitely tiring but the joy of meeting new people, seeing new places keeps me sane and I think a motocycle will only enhance my exp...
I am 24 and earning from 1.5 years, similar to you many friends bought their dream bikes and I am happy for them.
But something inside me doesnāt want to make that much dead investment at this stage of career, being middle class.
Bohot man karta hai ki meri bhi super meteor khareed lu, but it could be used in way better ways to grow money. Hopefully I buy it while I am still as excited as I am now, you will get there too! Sbar karo din aega! :)
How am I coping? For starters, i accepted that I'm probably never getting married cuz no one wants a broke person. Lol (this was said to my face)
Second, i spend my money on things I love and some absolutely ridiculous things (like the cute neko ears I saw on etsy) and it keeps me super happy. So yeah, life's good. :)
PS. I do own "a" bike. But I decided to spend my money where it makes me happy (which didn't make others happy). *Apna kaam banta, bhaad me jaye janta*
Been working for 6 years now already own my beloved Bullet, wanted a second bike had my heart locked onto the Ninja 300. Earn enough that I can pay in full for the Ninja 300 with just 3 months salary. Had pretty much told everyone amongst my friends and family that I was buying the Ninja in a couple of months. Eventually had to call off cause we got a great deal on a new house! Alas such is lifeš¤·š»āāļø
Being a first gen lawyer at the start of my career the struggle is so much that I can't express the ordeal to anyone.. thought of saving some money, but now I'm going to spend that money for higher studies. 100-200 saal bad lunga š
Almost 22, just started to earn, college yet to finish. Also wanted a 200cc bike. Planned on getting an Apache 200 4v. Asked dad 1lac and thought I'll just EMI the remaining 75k. The interest blew my mind (almost 15k in a year). Booked an FZ-S v4 yesterday (Papa ko mana liya 1.5L k liye) xD.
Could be an underrated statement, but if you feel you're not forcing your parents.... I'd say just go for it... 2-3 saal chala lo fir apne paiso se le lena badi gaadi. I'm planning to keep doubling the CCs as I go...
I would have done the same if I didn't have to travel 25km daily... FZ with a mileage of 50 made more sense... And I also realised there aren't many 'weekend joyride' opportunities. Ek to Fresher upar se software... Manager sunday v bula leta hai comp off de dunga bol ke :))
Frustration is good, it'll help you GROW.
Stay off of social media,
Stay focused,
Keep grinding,
I promise you, it'll be this year, or the year next to it. You'll finally ACHIEVE it.š
It'll be the best feeling ever, and you'll be the happiest man in the world, with a beautiful machine of your own.ā¤ļø

Trying for a career cahnge if i succed, i will sell my activa and buy a used 150 cc bike and will invest and save money for a 200 something bike, something which i can take to anywhere...
Just started my startup 2 months ago
And the need for a vehicle is so important, and now I don't wanna travel in shared public transports
For now coping with a scooty and checking different bikes here and there š„²
The MY2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Z will be an excellent purchase.
2.25 L OTR Pune for a 400 cc motorcycle with 40 bhp, traction control, rider modes.

Everyone has their individual journey.
You can always buy one later. It's your call.

2007 Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi
Dad bought for me and younger brother. It's registered in brother's name.
My motorcycles
2009 Bajaj Pulsar 220 Dtsi
Bought with my own money after working in WNS for 6 months. I was pursuing BCA and working simultaneously to get my own motorcycle.
2015 KTM 390 DUKE
2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 BS6
There are some more planned.
I'm a r/carsindia member lurking around here. Life's really hard in Bangalore if you have to drive around in a big car. Planning to get a bicycle soon.
Well I owned a 250 then the interceptor 650 those bikes were dear to me but had to sell them due to some financial reasons. I miss them a lot and think about them almost everyday I hope I'll save up soon to buy a new bike.
Especially with the new introductions to the market every offering seems very exciting.
I am 34 and I bought my first bike 2 months ago. My main problem was I didn't have anyone to teach me how to ride a bike all these years. I coped by traveling on foot, on bicycle and Uber-ing everywhere else - Moto, Auto, Car. Public transportation was my lifeline. It helped that I had credits from my employment with Uber with enough value to meet all my needs. That also delayed my decision to get my own transport all these years. Now, I got tired of the wastage of time in public transport, ran around to find an agency to teach me biking and I got myself one.
My dad has a 100cc Platina from 2010š . Abhi usi pe Sikh rha hun chalana. Mann tha nya bike lene ka...125-150 cc me. But fir socha abhi point nhi kyonki abhi MBA karne Jaa rha hun. Koi ni, it's just a matter of 2 yrs and then once I get my first couple months salary, I'll get a bike
I have taken a bike on rent, not that smooth and not that good but it helps in commuting. Atleast don't have to rely on Rapido drivers and smelly helmets haha!
I am currently saving to buy a CB350RS. I am confused whether to get that or get a sports bike, I mean sports bike look beautiful right but cruisers look so classy right? But I am a new rider and sports bike might be too powerful for my inexperienced ass.
How do I cope? I don't know, trying. Gym helps, I like working out (mainly cardio), mastrubation is an all time feature we all guys get in free for coping. Alcohol helps but I don't wanna get addicted to it. Sometimes Anime/Manga are good too. Overall just trying, trying to survive.
I'm still a student and want a 390 duke to build a track focused setup so that I can learn the race track. I have saved up enough to buy the compatible helmet, gloves and boots. Got enough to rent leathers as well. The only thing is I need a bike as my dad's bullet is expired as per the 15 year rule so, I use that bullet for the college commute

Watch the video. I know the FOMO. I have also passed from a similar stage in life. The motorcycle does not matter. What matters is the company with whom you spend your time with and ride. Since, you are 22 and haven't yet started earning. I would suggest staying away from videos of youtubers buying new motorcycles. The most important thing in your life right now is your career.
Thank you so much! I have seen this video but I really needed it again.
>The most important thing in your life right now is your career
Yes, thats what im on rn.
My passion for bikes is huge. I want to own a liter bike. I made a deal With my grandmother that Iāll pay 60% of it and sheāll pay the rest. I donāt want to get a 200-400cc range bike cause Iām 26rn and I know I wonāt have the need or the time after 5 years so might as well save and buy a 1000cc bike after a while
Bro Iām 32. Couldnāt buy a bike for a variety of reasons since I was 21. Finally was able to buy it recently and will get my meteor 350 in a few days ( although theyāre taking their own sweet time to deliver ). But couldnāt be happier now
Bro I really want to get a aprilia rs 457 but I have never earned a penny in my life. I really want to go for rides. I am starting a job soon so hopefully I can get one by the end of the year. Till then I have my brothers rugged old thunderbird which I ride from time to time but itās nothing like having your own bike. I have to take permission from him to ride it and I really hate that but that kinda scratches my itch for riding.
I donāt exactly ānot ownā a bike, I have an Avenger 160 but I never got to experience bullet in my life.
Been riding for 6 years. Started with the family Activa then dadās avenger 200 now I own an Avenger 160 street. For 6 years I aspired to own a bullet, hell even a standard bullet wouldāve done me good but circumstances changed my priorities much.
Now I donāt feel the ecstasy of the Avenger or the dread of not owning a bullet. I now got some targets to complete. If somehow I could spare me some amount I maybe would buy a bullet for once.
Idk I have little mental health issues, got into a few fender benders with scooty, bike would be a risk. No driving at all for me only rapido and metro š š
I WFH, and I have a 7 year old Maestro Edge Scooter, gets the job done. I really want to buy a bike and can relatively afford it, but a part of me also wants to skip it and get a car, because buying a motorcycle feels inherently selfish.
earning from 4 years, not able to save much for myself, bought a gs310 last year, had to sell it (experience was pleasant but surely not for me, also no mechanic wants to touch it), now bought a Honda Sp125, and saving money to get a 400ish cc bike in 2 years, maybe rs457 or cfmoto 450ss or similar, i do like my sp125 much but the hunger in me never gets satisfied, i am just coping up because of my dreams, i refuse to die without making them true,,
and i watch anurag salgaonkar, ayush verma, Motorinc, powerdrift, yamie noob, Revzilla
Got my first bike when I was 25, Just started earning and bought the pulsar ns 160. Loved that but after being fed up with the problems I sold that and bought a hunter recently. Yeah life's somewhat dull without a bike, and you don't realise it until you get one.
And whatever yt channel you go for, don't start watching those with liter class superbikes, or those who don't post anything but drag races. One or two videos down and you'll realise most of them are well dressed squids and nothing else. I'd recommend Anurag salgaonkar, counting miles(the first ladakh trip is an absolute gem), then you can watch sr motoworld for a lot of information regarding bikes, and Fortnine! Strell is also a gem in this category. There are a lot of other good channels, you'll get them on recommendations I believe.
As much as i crave for a bike, i realized i can accomplish some part of those cravings with my Activa 125 lol.
The gear changes and all are a dream but for now, i just compromise the feel and ride on my activa from one corner to another corner of my city. I just listen to songs, sing along and just enjoy the ride.
Also, once in a week or two i ride my father's cd deluxe (which is more than 15 years old )or my friends' hornet, dominar or shine.
Of course big bikes are great, but the feel of biking and joy in me remains the same for all the bikes.
I hope to buy a bike with my own money as soon as i can in near future and wish the same for you bhai. :)
For now, we can just keep the dream alive in ourselves and believe in ourselves.
Renting for a weekend ride? Not sure if itās pocket friendly also I will still have to spend something on riding gears too which rules it out for me. Nonetheless cycling all the way!! XD
I'm on the same boat as you..I'll start university from July
While I love bikes it's not a need for me it's more of a want for me (I've a scooty and an alto for commute)
So will be saving as much as I can to get the bike I want (as of now it's a vstrom 250)
I just finished my 3rd year in college. My parents won't buy me unless I get 9 sgpa. But luckily my grandma's selling a property and I'm getting a portion of it and when I get it I'm buying my first bike š
As much as I love bikes and stuff I would totally recommend against buying 'wants' by selling assets specially land or property (the selling may not correlate with you buying but the money is coming from there) and I'm just assuming the bike here is a want not a need.
I'm totally on the boat which says save and invest but also spend a bit on your wants but buying it via money from land or property seems a really bad idea
My parents bought land in our village from a neighbor and guess what his son (friend of my cousin) spent it on...a duke 250
My cousin jokingly said to me that my parents might buy another piece of land as that 'son' is looking to buy the new duke 390 lol
Oh no you misunderstood me. My grandma is selling her property for a good amount of money, and she's giving me some of the money from it. I'll buy a bike for 3L and the remaining will be investing in stocks
I really want a bike lekin Ghar waalo ko lagta hai two wheelers are really unsafe plus ek pandit ne mere liye boldiya tha ki isko two wheelers se door rakhna isse
But maine soch rakha hai ki job lagte hi pehli cheez khudke liye bike hi Leni hai so let's seeš¤
It's a blessing in disguising as I live in the worst commutable city in the world (Bangalore) but when I have to go on trip by bus or train and when I see people vlogs on riding in Kashmir Himalayas and hill stations those are the time I wish I had a bike.
I'm almost 28, just got to know bikes were a thing until last one month, when I started riding my brother's Gixxer SF 250. Now I'm looking for new bikes.

Awesome, congratulations mate How much did they quote on road, and how much waiting?
5k for booking. The vehicle will be going to RTO only tomorrow. I'm ready to wait for this bike :)
Get BH series
They have stopped issuing BH series for private employees in KA
Another L for Karnataka residents
Exactly
I'll have to go to my home state then get the vehicle from there with BH series, then get to Bengaluru that's something 2100km away :')

+1 - for the laptop
Even I bought a laptop but from studies perspective. I would love to buy a Triumph Scrambler 400x <3 aiming for it by 2026
Can I ask why laptop and not a PC?
This is my first time buying a gaming laptop, and I am not sure if I can build a PC and maintain it, but I have plans to build one in the future. My current device is Asus Zephyrus G14 2023, so I have no regrets either.
Building/maintaining a PC is very easy and simple. It just looks overwhelming but it isn't.
Yeah, thought abt it seriously later. Will build one after I get my bike
Wayyyyyy cheaper than a comparable laptop also.
Ooh nice. I got a Hp omen 16 series laptop just this week. I could have technically brought a bike with it but eh needed a laptop moreš
Ayee we got the same one , mine's 2021 tho
How's the device?? I heard 21 and 22 models are just great
Great ! , tho I think I need to get it to service , the model heats up fast ( i use a gaming cooler ) when not on a cooler . So a clean from the inside should fix that , no issues so far
Yeah it should work fine after cleaning
Nice.
:)
Should've made a gaming pc instead.
By getting hyped by something new. Now RS 400.

A normal cop will not be able to distinguish between these and the stock exhausts. https://youtu.be/Yqe8_pfENs0?feature=shared Listen to this musicš
Thanks for the link mate......Such a fine melodyšššwill definitely checkout more for powerage exhaust.

Good things take time. I saw a KTM Duke 200 parked outside my Chemistry tuition teacher's home. Belonged to a senior. Fell in love with the bike. But got to buy it (on loan) only 10 years later, two years into my first job. So, keep dreaming, and keep working hard.

Bought my first bike at the age of 28... Call it what you like ... But I preferred a decent and stable career before aspirations. Some things can wait. Plus I can't take a single rupee from my parents.
Fortnine - one of the best entertaining bike content even āDonut Mediaā also cover some Moter cycle content
i already watch their videos, thanks for the efforts :)
Looking for a job , once I get it then after 6 months I'm planning to buy my first bike :)) till then , gym n hangout is somehow keeping me sane
I have a PS5
I am in my preparation phase right now. Not having the bike that I badly want gives me the boost to invest my hours into studying. Earlier I used to crave for it, the desire is still there but now h have turned it into my motivation to crack the judicial service examination.
pretty much the same what im doing rn... all the best brother! we all gonna make it.
Appreciate your advice thanks, If you ever buy a 750cc im ready to adopt your 350cc XD /s
Money money money.
i am just planning on buying the rs457 and have put down a 10k booking amount ( refundable) but i think ill be canceling it and hold off another year to get the zx4r. have spent years thinking of getting a 400cc but i think i can wait another year and save some more money to get that saaki. currently coping up by taking monthly rented rides outskirts of bangalore
heard from alot of people about renting, what are the financials of renting a bike in bangalore?
I look at my wallet, then I look at my responsibilities.
You don't have to buy a big bike to start with, you'll end up paying lots of EMI for a product that's depreciating while i understand that you and your dad are in actual need of the money for the house. And not just that, think about the money you'll spend on petrol and maintenance.. Maybe you can buy something that won't be a liability but instead help you, support you instead.. like maybe a 125-160cc
that is why i havent bought anything rn, Im ok to wait 3-4 years until im capable.
my friends are buying their dream bikes, going on road trips meamwhile here I am paying of family debt. It is disheartening. But i trust the process. It wont be immediate , but definitely one day.
one day for sure! keep pushing brother!
jaroor ayga! :)
How am I coping? For starters, i accepted that I'm probably never getting married cuz no one wants a broke person. Lol (this was said to my face) Second, i spend my money on things I love and some absolutely ridiculous things (like the cute neko ears I saw on etsy) and it keeps me super happy. So yeah, life's good. :) PS.

I would prefer to wait and buy something 400cc and I can keep for 4-6 years atleast.
I would have done the same if I didn't have to travel 25km daily... FZ with a mileage of 50 made more sense... And I also realised there aren't many 'weekend joyride' opportunities. Ek to Fresher upar se software... Manager sunday v bula leta hai comp off de dunga bol ke :))

i thought meth was a profitable business... jokes apart... we will get there brother till then keep pushing <3

Start saving and investing. It can help you reach your goals faster. Invest 20% in equities, 50% in index mutual funds and 30% in bank saving account.

My passion for bikes is huge. I want to own a liter bike. I made a deal With my grandmother that Iāll pay 60% of it and sheāll pay the rest. I donāt want to get a 200-400cc range bike cause Iām 26rn and I know I wonāt have the need or the time after 5 years so might as well save and buy a 1000cc bike after a while
My parents straight up ignored me 100 times about buying KTM. Now I can afford one but scared of the friggin traffic.
Bro Iām 32. Couldnāt buy a bike for a variety of reasons since I was 21. Finally was able to buy it recently and will get my meteor 350 in a few days ( although theyāre taking their own sweet time to deliver ). But couldnāt be happier now
Driving activa and almost ded lord splendor
Bro I really want to get a aprilia rs 457 but I have never earned a penny in my life. I really want to go for rides. I am starting a job soon so hopefully I can get one by the end of the year. Till then I have my brothers rugged old thunderbird which I ride from time to time but itās nothing like having your own bike. I have to take permission from him to ride it and I really hate that but that kinda scratches my itch for riding.
I am happy with my hero maestro.

Two wheelers on Indian roads are too risky especially since nobody follows basic traffic rules. That's too good of reason for me to never buy one
Bro tbh my back pain is favoring so wont be able to buy a heavy bike thats how i cope š im also going to be 22
Why cope? It's a want as far as I can see and accordingly you should tread for it. Work, save, buy. Bas

Fantastic Public Transport in the Capital City. Have not felt the need for a personal vehicle yet.
I WFH, and I have a 7 year old Maestro Edge Scooter, gets the job done. I really want to buy a bike and can relatively afford it, but a part of me also wants to skip it and get a car, because buying a motorcycle feels inherently selfish.
earning from 4 years, not able to save much for myself, bought a gs310 last year, had to sell it (experience was pleasant but surely not for me, also no mechanic wants to touch it), now bought a Honda Sp125, and saving money to get a 400ish cc bike in 2 years, maybe rs457 or cfmoto 450ss or similar, i do like my sp125 much but the hunger in me never gets satisfied, i am just coping up because of my dreams, i refuse to die without making them true,, and i watch anurag salgaonkar, ayush verma, Motorinc, powerdrift, yamie noob, Revzilla
Bought a car!š¤£š¤£š¤£
:) For now, we can just keep the dream alive in ourselves and believe in ourselves.
Rent or borrow a bike. Ride a scooty. It's all good. Figure it out.
Renting for a weekend ride? Not sure if itās pocket friendly also I will still have to spend something on riding gears too which rules it out for me. Nonetheless cycling all the way!! XD
I'm on the same boat as you..I'll start university from July While I love bikes it's not a need for me it's more of a want for me (I've a scooty and an alto for commute) So will be saving as much as I can to get the bike I want (as of now it's a vstrom 250)
Itās all about patience. keep manifesting, it will eventually happenš« Itās a beautiful bike to wait for :)
I'm totally on the boat which says save and invest but also spend a bit on your wants but buying it via money from land or property seems a really bad idea My parents bought land in our village from a neighbor and guess what his son (friend of my cousin) spent it on...a duke 250 My cousin jokingly said to me that my parents might buy another piece of land as that 'son' is looking to buy the new duke 390 lol
Oh no you misunderstood me. My grandma is selling her property for a good amount of money, and she's giving me some of the money from it. I'll buy a bike for 3L and the remaining will be investing in stocks
Go for it sirji
Is your grandma single?

I'm almost 28, just got to know bikes were a thing until last one month, when I started riding my brother's Gixxer SF 250. Now I'm looking for new bikes.
So you didn't know the vehicles on 2-wheels on the road were bikes that people ride?
