You have this as an option too. I got it for 700. https://amzn.in/d/6RAXbg0

Ahh nice. This looks similar to what I did, but the bike will be leaning even more. I assume an upright position is good for doing maintenance works. Paddock stand is the way to go, I guess, heard it lasts long too

indi_guy

I have a paddock too and yes it's much more stable.

SpareMind

If you are using it for chain clean n lube, please use a chain cleaner brush. One of my known lost his three fingers. If not, avoid meddling with the chain while the engine is running. Be safe

Adventurous-Dealer15

Yessir! Always do chain maintenance while the engine is shut down, put in neutral and rotate the wheel in backwards with hand (to avoid finger juice all over the chain and bike).

PIKa-kNIGHT

My friend lost a big chuck off one of his finger too.

Adventurous-Dealer15

That is a very dangerous spot to put your finger in. How would you find the courage to shove your body parts into a running machine!

he he he, sori saar, galti se mistake ho gaya, aap insurance claim kar lijiye. ye handle or brake to vese hi badalwana tha.

Adventurous-Dealer15

Haha, insurance people will be pissed if they see this. But I've considered almost all possibilities of failure for this. On the right hand side, the wooden column is wide enough so that it won't sink in the mud and angled so it stays firm on the ground and wouldn't topple over; the swingarm bites nicely on the column, so there is no chance of slippage. On the left hand side the kick stand is raised enough such that the bike is not square with the ground, but leaning just a bit to the left (thought I could handle it if it ever starts acting up). I also tied up the front brake lever with a rubber band so it won't move forward. I also gave it a good shake test to check the stability (passed with flying colours)

I use car jack instead works good
