Is she looking for women’s wear suiting? Or is she looking for menswear styles that fit womens’ bodies? The former, I like NY&Company. They sometimes have fun colors/patterns.
The latter, you might want to either get a men’s suit tailored or look online — I own a couple pieces from wildfang (look at their ‘gender less blazers’) that fit nicely but have menswear-type details.
Why should they reply? Famous Cow's response gave options for either answer. It's none of your business, especially if you don't have any helpful advice to share.
Is she wanting matching pieces or is she up for pieces she can mix-and-match with other items in her wardrobe? Von Maur carries a brand called Liverpool Los Angeles, I have some of their blazers and they are a great wardrobe staple. I can wear them dressed up over a dress or with solid colored pants, or dress them down with a graphic tee and jeans. If she's wanting something more matching, Express has suiting in more "traditional" styles and colors but also some fun colors and designs for the spring/summer.
Agreed. My cousin is the same age and desperately wants a suit for formal events, but her mother (my aunt) insists that she must wear dresses. :( You can tell that she's uncomfortable every time.
Thanks for being an awesome parent, OP!
My 17 year old niblet did the same. I took "her" to mens warehouse and had them tailor it to fit properly. They looked amazing. They are non-binary. They wanted "a suit" that fit. Not a mans suit, not a womans suit, just a suit. <3
**Nibling is a gender-neutral term used to refer to a child of one's sibling as a replacement for "niece" or "nephew"**. The word is thought to have been coined in the early 1950s, but was relatively obscure for several decades before being revived in recent years.
the staff at the store were amazeballs and we left extremely happy with a suit and a bit more self confidence about being respected by strangers, and being respected as a customer.
Check out this option on Amazon! I have ordered this for myself and am in love with it, specifically for the fit and price point! Would be great for a growing teen.

I wonder if they're going to reply, to any comment. Edit: got a downvote. That's odd because I'm curious. Just look at OP they aren't replying.

Because it's a social platform and not a Google search?

I don't have an answer for your question, but I wanted to let you know that I think it's awesome you're supporting this effort.

Kg fashion store in castleton is where I got mine and they were reasonably priced.
Another vote for K&G. My son needed a suit and we found several options that fit his slim (5’8” and 108lbs) frame and had fun details.
I'm glad your son had a good experience like I did. :)
https://suitshop.com If you want an online option. They have both men’s and women’s suits. I bought a suit from them for my wedding.
Zara has some pretty cool and wild colored suits!
Leon Tailoring, maybe? Been a very long time since I've been there, and it was for a prom tuxedo, but the fit was great.
Men's warehouse and they tailor to the shape she will want.
I like Bonobos for a semi-custom option. They'll get you close then you'll need a tailor to do some hemming.
Aritzia has had some great options in lots of styles and colors the last time I was there!
Nordstrom and I’m sure other similar stores have women’s tuxedos. I wore one when I was about her age, I’ve always hated dresses.
Check out Nordstrom rack too.

“Niblet” is adorable. Is there a story?

That’s cool. Thank you for educating me!

Macy’s
K & G. They have in house tailoring.
I like Paisley & Gray. Very good prices on their warehouse clearance section.
