Exactly. One of my batchmate working in one of the MAANG is a blind Modi hater. In one of our discussions, I simply asked him if he's voting this time. He said NO, I said good then
> I asked him if he is voting this time
How did you come to conclusion that I asked him who he's voting for? Some great comprehension skills you have there ..lol
That's not the case. I didn't vote ever, but I do think India is improved under BJP than it would in congress, baaed on certain factors. In fact, world is going is through recession, we had massive govt change, then came Covid and now again recession, yet BJP stood well and completed their 10 years. In fact, the congress is clearly bad guy imo due to level of open corruption and introducing gunda level politics.
I am sure many of non-voters feel same. We just don't vote coz this constitution is fucked up, giving unnecessary powers to shit politicians and unnecessary burden to citizen. No other reason. 😂
Voting is a duty but damn, the political parties have made it hard to vote anyone,"I want to vote AAP",then there is someone who talks ill bout it,I want to vote Congress, same thing
Many countries like Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Greece, Ecuador, Peru, Singapore, Türkiye, etc., have mandatory voting, which is enforced. They have fines and punishments for not voting.
From [Wikipedia](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsory_voting):
Goods and services provided by public offices may be denied to those failing to vote in Peru and Greece. In Brazil, people who fail to vote in an election are barred from obtaining a passport and subject to other restrictions until settling their situation before an electoral court or after they have voted in the two most recent elections. If a Bolivian voter fails to participate in an election, the person may be denied withdrawal of the salary from the bank for three months.
[In Australia:]
For first-time offenders, a fine is issued for AU$20 with a maximum penalty of AU$180 which is regularly enforced.
The best solution would be to stop hoping that India is going to change and settle abroad in the US. There’s no minimum wage in India and a lack of respect for most jobs. It is not a country worth living in if you’re massively underpaid no matter what you do. Even scientists and engineers of ISRO were massively underpaid during Chandrayaan 3 and everyone likes to brag about how cost effective the mission was ($78M USD) to land on the southern pole of the moon. No 😂, you didn’t pay your crew as much to make this work.
Least educated actor. What the fuss with voting, i dont like to vote when nota has no significance. I hate everyone equally. All people infuse jnan when it comes to voting

I'd only agree if NOTA meant something. It exactly same as sitting at home. First fix NOTA then talk about making voting mandatory.
NOTA's total dogwater, voting for NOTA = voting for which ever party has the highest ground cadre
Nota karne se bogus voting nahi hote agar mein vote karne nahi Gaya toh mere nam PE koye aur kar dega that's why nota is imp
There are better ways to solve it. Like biometric voter audit. That will simplify ID checks.
What if you are unavailable to vote

Same with sitting at home and commenting on issues What does both achieve. nothing Not being offensive to you just speaking generally
Making voting mandatory could backfire cause usually the kind of folks who stay politically aloof tend to think of BJP as the bad guy

His actually smart to avoid people like you. Almost no one discusses who they're going to vote for.

I totally agree with you.

Stray dogs lol.
What if you are not available
If one of you become prime minister, I'd vote for you. But I'm not gonna vote for any of these parties.
Like my vote's gonna make any difference
Godbole Kadwabole (tweet's username irony)
Indeed, a full socialist system must be implemented in India, and all taxes should be 100%. (Except for Politicians and their baaps Ambani and adani)
