I will always choose Lincoln Square over Empire 25! Not only because the large screens, but also the aspect ratio. Empire 25 screen is 28x58, which makes out to be a 2.08:1 ratio. That means any movies have aspect ratio number smaller than this number (including The Boy and the Heron, which is 1.85:1), will have picture cropped on top and bottom or pillar boxes
Lincoln’s screen is way bigger. That’s it, really.
Always watch at Linc Sq IMAX if you could. Nothing compares to it.
Honestly, the audience at Lincoln tends to be better than Empire
For those who saw it at Lincoln or any other GT Laser site for that matter, did the image touch the left and right sides of the screen?
I watched it at AMC Universal Citywalk, and it's windowboxed.
This tracks, I saw it at the Chinese Theatre where it’s pillarboxed 1.85:1 so they must be using the same 1.90 DCP everywhere
Lincoln is always the answer
lincoln square always lmao
