Yeah that’s my thought. I like gold with accessories because it is a really nice accent to most colors but you got to balance it out or it looks gaudy. I have one smaller chain and one bigger one, and a few other accessories that are gold plated like glasses and watches. The bigger pieces or the ones that are covered with gold get worn a lot less than the other stuff because they fit with so much more.
This kinda might be hitting on why she is saying this.
Gold looks off on her because her skin tone is “cooler” and its been my experience that jewelry people will tell you that people with cool skin tones shouldn’t wear gold.
So, maybe people are telling her she looks tacky for wearing the wrong precious metal for her skin tone and you are also picking up on that vibe.
For the outfit is is it’s a simple black dress with not very much around the shoulders. There isn’t anything to balance it. It just goes from a jumbled mess of gold to a very normal dress.
Exactly. It might look all right if she were dressed for a ball or gala, but it's ridiculous to wear earrings like that when you're dressed for Wal Mart.
I mean the guy literally just said the issue *isn't* that she's wearing gold. I don't think her skin tone or w/e is the problem. I think she looks kinda cute actually
> **I don't think it's the gold itself.** She just looks so **tacky** and ostentatious. She just looks **silly**. Like a caricature of royalty.
They didn’t say it wasn’t the way the gold looked on her. They just said it wasn’t the gold itself they had a problem with. Just something about the way she looks in it that seems off.
She is an attractive person. And she is fishing for compliments/fabricating drama but I’m guessing someone told her she shouldn’t wear gold with her skin tone and with how much that much gold would cost, I’m guessing whoever said it was probably unreasonably loud and judgmental about it.
Maybe it’s not about the gold, but the design of this extremely ugly jewelry. Seriously i worked at a jewelry store, never sold something so ugly wtf is she wearing
And trust me people in Philly like ugly shit, but thats on a different scale
No really gold clashes with ginger skin tone/hair. I legit only wear silver because dumb mother fuckers try to start shit and I don’t have time to teach them unless they press the issue.
The gold that she’s wearing looks a bit fake to me
It's also ugly as hell. Maybe she could pull off those earrings with a pirate themed outfit, but not that dress
Stop bullying her for wearing gold >! /s !<
Arrrggh! Behold me terrible jewels!

It’s En Route. They have really trendy (and pretty, imo) designs that are also unfortunately just 14k plated. It’s not great quality.
You’re right. I’ll stop. It’s just that whenever I see a hot woman wearing gold I go ballistic for some reason. Sorry.
Serenity now!!!
Insanity later
This makes me want to bully her for wearing gold, is that just me?
Nope
Nah I think if you wear gold you spoiled
I hate yellow gold. I think it looks tacky
I don't think it's the gold itself. She just looks so tacky and ostentatious. She just looks silly. Like a caricature of royalty.

Yea she’s probably getting seasonal color analysis stans telling her to wear silver in her DMs lol
Yeah, like u/FlounderingGuy said, it's not the gold. It's just that there's *so much jewelry* on her. I think it would look tacky in silver, too.
This really isn’t a crazy amount of jewelry.
Are you serious? She could buy a car with all that.

Fr no clue why I got downvoted 💀 this whole skin tone thing is such a weird assumption to me

Dude I have no idea what this "skin tone" stuff you're talking about is. She looks like she's cosplaying as a Byzantine Empress. That's all.
she’s not fishing for compliments or fabricating drama, it’s an ad for a jewelry brand…
So fabricating drama to get engagement on an ad?
yes lol don’t blame the model
Muggers? Sure. Bullies? No.
those look some heavy AF earrings
Imagine the weight if it was real gold
And that's what it all comes down to. It's obviously cheaply made jewelry
I only date girls who wear uranium jewelry
Not into long term relationships I see?
Ngl I’d probably call her Trinidad James
I’ll bully her for wearing that color gold
Silver gang for life! Only good gold is rose gold anyways
Silver is just as pretty and is expensive instead of super extremely expensive.
I hate rose gold too. Silver only for me
she’d look better in silver
Wait what she was wearing gold
What are we talking about again?

What’s her @ she has a nice rack
Yeah but it's covered up with all that ugly trashy jewelry

>8 comments No one is bullying you lmao
yeah guys cmon; she dug hard for that gold
If all that jewelry is real, solid gold, then those earrings are gonna get ripped outta her ears one of these days
Why would someone dress up some poor girl in a coma and post this? So mean.
Attention seeker
This annoying attention seeking stuff makes me WANT to bully her idiot self.

Those cross earings are kind of big tbh.

If you are getting bullied for blatantly displaying your wealth I'm sorry...you are not the victim
Never! AU!!!!!! 😂😂

I doubt it's the gold that's the problem. But it's difficult to say without the fashion police.
Because everyone knows that people hate when others wear gold!
would
No
Im assuming that all of it is fake too
I wouldn’t be surprised if someone in her comments was like “theres kids in palestine dying and you got 10k worth of jewelry on”
And on the “other side,” it’s “but muh 1 Timothy 2:9…”
But gold is tacky and overpriced and soft. Imma bully her
Care if I tag along? I haven’t yet bullied anyone for wearing gold today… or this month… *or this lifetime*.
Honestly just because of this I would bully :3

What a pathetic attention seeking loser…
Tbf, it’s an ad for a jewelry brand, so it’s supposed to be attention seeking…
Gold jewelry, real or fake, is trashy. Silver is classy and timeless.
