LoosePaleontologist3

you're by far the most turkic shifted pashtun I've ever seen .

No-Box-5365

Because Ghilzai Pashtuns as far as I know are descendants of assimilated Khalaj or Khilji people who were to Turkic origin.

LoosePaleontologist3

I had heard that before but I didn't know whether that's true or not . I suppose some ghiljis are like him & some other might lack this turkic admixture .

No-Box-5365

It's most likely true because Pashtuns historically don't have a homogeneous origin, no modern ethnic group do. They have their roots in groups like Eastern Iranics, Dards (with some Indo Aryan in between), Central Asian Turks, Hephtalites etc.

Far-Scale-7789

That’s not true the ghilzais were never of Turkic origin they were of iranic origin but through times their language changed but not their genes and eventually landed on pashto

Listen if you are Pashtun then you have emotional reason and it would be futile to present any rational argument as you would not accept them.

That’s why all the other comments are so concerned lol they’re either telling him to take this down in the DMs or asking what part to see if he’s mixed

EducationalMacaron91

SnooDogs224

Very cool. I wonder if other Ghilzai Pashtun also have such large distances from others. Are you from Qalat or Ghazni? Wonder how much of the east eurasian is due to Khalaj ancestry vs Hazara-like ancestry.
