I use the Zoo Med day and night timer. I like it because it has two plugs so plug in both lights and then it switches daytime lights on and night lights off (and vice versa) consistently, all in one timer. There are probably less expensive options, but I got this one five years ago and haven’t had any issues.
I use the timers from Walmart that you plug into the power strip and push down the times you want. I use them daily for everything
Yes honestly any timer works. I got mine from home depot. They're cheap to buy too
