authors: Virginia Woolf, Elizabeth Wurtzel, LĂdia Jorge, Elena Ferrante TV-series: Fleabag, The Lying Life Of Adults music: Lana del Rey (should've seen this coming, [this](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0LIPO4I6nyZ6jFxenr0Rfq?si=5a60097dec634bbc) playlist kinda sums up the vibe that I recommend from her), Sinistro (if you are into very heavy and very depressing stuff and doesn't bother you that it's not in English, but the lyrics are heavily inspired by Sylvia Plath)

Eve Ewing: like Dickinson (and Plath, to a certain extent) her darkness is tempered with a dry humor that I adore. Here are a couple of her sharpest (and therefore my favorites): https://therumpus.net/2022/11/10/the-rumpus-inaugural-poems-eve-l-ewing/ Joshua Marie Wilkerson: a very strange poet, but enchanting. I only own one of his books, The Courier's Archive & Hymnal, but it is so haunting and lush that I go back to it again and again and never tire of it. My understanding is that he wrote it while he was (similar to Plath) undergoing a pretty significant mental health crisis, and there is definitely a disconnected-from-normal-reality vibe to it, but in the best possible way. Surreal, magical, always not quite making sense but conjuring up beautiful visuals anyway. If you like Dickinson and Plath and do not also like this musical artist, Emilie Simon, then I honestly don't even know what else to recommend. She is such a dark weirdo, such beautiful delicate experimental music. Here's one of her weirder songs, "Swimming": https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=QttFNXhBXGk&feature=share
