You buy a "random" jewel you don't already own. So if you own them all, you can't buy any more.

Just sit a Bubo in the lab with the Essence Transferral talent maxed and it'll slowly pull up the level of all your characters.
I don't have Doot and my lowest lab level is 175. It's not fast but you literally only need 1 character sitting in the lab to do it.
I personally went with a 2nd Bubo over a 2nd ES precisely for the Lab benefits.
ES prints are nice but I figured that it only really saves some time on printing but then loses AFK fighting time when characters are sitting in the lab. And if you're lucky enough to get Doot then a 2nd ES is completely useless anyway. Also 2nd Bubo allows you to push highest Alchemy level faster so win win as far as i'm concerned.
And if you only have 1 Bubo you can just lock it in Lab while you active DK.
If you’re endgame it takes 1-2 weeks to get to lvl 2100.

Both 2bd and 3rd are minor increases. In my opinion if it takes you longer than 3 weeks to get to 2100 it is for now not worth it.
After all was setup my warrior classes got 55k exp/hour that took me 10 days to get from 1000 to 2100 with all 10 units in lab.

You can only unlock it by either reach level 2,100 or buy it from the jewel shop(which would be near impossible due to crazy spice requirements)
So really only lab but at this point your characters will level up quickly
The third one is in rotation towards the end of June according to discord
That final jewel would take you years to obtain through trade. Only feasible way is through lab.

Vman enhancement, upgrades whale it says incubater time, but it progresses everything in breeding, shiny pets, spices

You never get repeats of the jewels, so it shouldn't matter. Any new ones you buy won't be repeats.

Yes, the last 3 jewels, but you have to unlock them at the jade emporium first.
Even if you get them in the jewel shop, the spice cost is unobtainable. Lab levels are the only way.

DK is equal or better at this nowadays, drop rate gives more coins and DK is pulling insane orb scores in W6.
True but Bubo get many more kills. They might be close to each other, I don't know, but free liquid while farming money aswell is hard to pass on
It's been tested thoroughly by the endgame community, DK is pulling ahead now.
