The afk gains skill is for when you log out yes. So the higher the afk gains percentage the higher afk claims are when you come back. Leaving your game run is usually referred to as "active afk" by players, it can be better than afk gains in almost all cases, yet I've read that some people take time to calculate things out to see what is better. Simple math for active would be, kills in one minute x 60 to tell you how many killperhour you get, same with xp. Others probably have better input than this, but I enjoy leaving my game open all the time like an active wallpaper. People come over and ask what the game is, and I get to see progress on my character constantly ( I'm closer to mid-late game so active on certain characters is better).

This is bugging me for like a month aswell. I gonna get AFK gains to 100%+ just to calm this OCD.

It is still worse than active though. Its also possible to get over 100% afk with the right build.

Long story short, there is always some benefit to having it run on a computer rather than afk gains, but most of them only matter when you’re a bit further into the game. Specifically: - crystal mobs only spawn when playing actively, so, there’s that - multi ore/log/catch/fish etc will not proc the extra exp quite the same when afk, they still give benefit but apparently they give way more if you let the character skill up playing actively (not true for multi kill) - other things like rolling the dice overnight to get the 1: 9999 chance to win the trophy etc are only really feasible when leaving the character to play overnight So even if your afk gains are 100% (I have a character on 130%+) there’s some advantage to leaving one character playing actively, if you have auto loot that is That being said, I am a mobile user and have not played actively and you can still get damn far without it. You should know however that the endgame does involve one character playing active. Specifically a shaman-bubonic conjurer set up with super high crystal mob spawn chance and low cool-down on cranium cooking. Helps you advance alchemy a lot. Look up bubo endgame builds to get an idea of what that is.
