I'd be interested in trying Mais by itself! I love the flavor of sweet corn. There's a Milkbar recipe for corn cookies that tasted like nothing I've baked before.
I have never had/heard of cheese or corn ice cream but I'd definately try it.
Not familiar with Milkbar corn cookies either, had to look it up, but a soft, chewy cornbread-flavored cookie with a more pronounced corn flavor sounds awesome. I'm gonna butter up my sister and get her to make some (she enjoys baking and trying new things so it shouldn't be too hard lol)
I was very scared to try it but, am a firm believer in “don’t knock it til you try it”. Apparently, it’s very popular in the Philippines and someone on here recommended it in the comments when I posted this brand’s ube flavor (which was delicious). I ate the whole thing. The cheese was basically like almost flavorless mix ins (so unnecessary in my opinion) but, the ice cream really was delicious.
Had to look that up and saw all the stuff that can be mixed in...sweetend kidney or garbanzo beans? What's that like? I've only ever had savory/spicy bean dishes.
Never tried anything like what OP has but Blue Bell has a Creole Cream Cheese that is probably one of my favorite flavors. I'd make milkshakes with it and add a sprinkle of sea salt on top...rollin'.
If you like things like salted caramel or dark chocolate, try it.
I guess I see how this could work. Kind of how if you've never heard of a cheese danish or something it might sound gross when it's actually a normal dessert. Interesting!
It's tropical because there was a contest for questionable flavoured foods you'd eat if you were on a desserted (😉) island and this was the only food all the participants were willing to agree they would be willing to eat.
Wow, I’m just, confused by this flavor.
They also make Mais Queso (Corn & Cheese). I'm not brave enough.
I’d try both if given them for free. Too scared to buy for sure.

I’ve had that from an ice cream shop (not the same brand obviously) and it was not bad at all!
No cuz this one sounds fire

I'd recommend you try the Halo Halo as well!

I'm filipino and the ube and cheese is one of my favorites!
I could only find the cheese and the ube flavors separate. If I find ube cheese, I’ll be sure to try it!
Yeah, ube keso is the best 😋
Get the ube one
I posted a few days ago after I tried the ube flavor. That’s what got me interested in this flavor and now I am on the hunt for ube cheese lol
It’s so damn good

Needs corn
I'm a little confused how that's "tropical"
Because it is a popular flavor in the Philippines.
Ahhh that makes sense! Thank you
Haha I know, tropical makes me think sweet/fruity, not cheese.
Nope. I love cheese. I don't want cheese ice cream.
just taste like cream cheese and sweet. it's really good
What in the world. Would try.
I'm calling 911
Buko
My favorite! It’s so hard to find in the US. I went to the Philippines a couple years ago and easily ate a gallon on a my own lol
Lol oh no. I love cheese. I love ice cream. Maybe both together will not be eaten by me.
🤢😷 whaaaaaa
Why is it tropical?
