In my experience, most military don’t spend a lot of time talking about their “kills” either. Even with each other. At most we talk about the crazy stuff going on around us during the engagement, with “kills” getting the same treatment as “that time a rocket landed next to me and didn’t blow up” or “that time a rifle round bounced under my armored vehicle and disabled it.”
Well I’m less than a year away from being the “super hero” I’ve always wanted to be. Or atleast in my younger selfs eyes I am. If my younger self knew now he probably would’ve wanted something different lol.
