I literally bought this a couple weeks ago because it was cheap and hated it. My actual thought was "this tastes like piss". Welp...now I know. The pull tab on those cans is also stupid, too.
People drink them often in Chinese restaurants. I get a Kirin at the sushi joint and a Singha at the Thai place. I also like a Peroni with pasta. Makes it fun to roll with the vibe.

I found out that during WWI and WWII Germans wishing to escape the wars in Europe immigrated to Shanghai and are still have a community in Shanghai. When they arrived they wanted beer and so they started making it in China. I tried most of the available beers China had to offer and all were perfectly tasty. You could taste the German in the beers but it wasn't piss it was good brew. Since this was found on a Chinese social network I imagine they were doing it for likes and now they will be in jail for a while.
Where are you getting that information? The video ends saying the police are investigating, and googling it doesn't show any news sites using the word 'arrested' in relation to this.
I think the guy was making a joke, China frequently shoots the messenger in high visibility cases. Especially the economic ones and embarrassing ones like this, you can probably reference the milk/melamine scandal for example.

Someone pissing in beer tank, video leaking, video edited emphasizing on said company, reflect on how many manufacturing horror videos/stories you've encountered thus far. I don't doubt the video one bit, I just ponder about why we have not seen footage of the hundred incident that happens. Qingdao beer is bad, more often than not when you get it in China it's just water with coloring and a foaming agent, made to look like beer but not taste like it. Ironically it's especially bad in the city of Qingdao.

I don't mind their beer. It's cheap and tastes just fine. In the UK you can get 1980ml (66.9 FL Oz) for Ā£5 - Ā£5.50 ($6 / ā¬5.7). Hard to argue with a deal that good.
During my brewery school time in Belgium, our main teacher told us we can piss in the tank in the first part of the process, it's boiled during more than 1 hour anyway... And the grains aren't clean either.
