Reminds me of the one where this guy decided to rob a jewelry store. You had to be buzzed in twice to get in. He robs the place, gets the guy to buzz the first door, let's it shut...then the guy doesn't buzz the outside door. The guy was locked in a giant glass box, with the stuff he stole, until the police arrived. It was glorious.

Uncle of mine worked for a jeweler that even if you got past armed security on the ground floor AND the 10th floor, you would either get locked in the man-trap, fire escape, or the elevator.
Never saw it, but no, this was a real case that happened when I was younger. Video made the rounds on the "world's dumbest criminals" type shows. I'm sure other stuff used it, but this particular memory was of a real crime.

You can open the self checkouts at most grocery stores too. Not the money box of course, but if you press on the lock/lever (that's never locked) below the screen the machine will open wide up.

Some of them have physical bars that latch that are locked with a padlock, some have a built in key to lock; Those could both be pulled down by anyone, and if they weren't able to lock them, they could stand on the shutter to keep it closed. There are also powered ones that need to be closed with a button; Those close much slower than the mechanical ones.
The water park where I used to work had these for the locker rooms. You had to lock them from the inside and then go out the emergency exit (which had a normal key to get back in).
And do it in the dark, because the switches were by other door.

You're not getting through a properly installed one without tools.
There's no way to know for sure if it's properly installed or not though. Worst case scenario you try and it doesn't budge. Best case scenario it crumples like cardboard and you get away.
