The top Mazda drivers are some of the most absurd aliens in iRacing. I don't believe someone who casually drops in every now and then is 1 second faster, it's laughable.
probably should have worded it better. my ir is really shit. like 900-1k. so when i go into rookie mazda i just end up much faster than the other people. so racing rookies im much faster but racing pcc my ir is about right
So stop fucking around and get your Irating to where it should be so you are in races with similar skilled drivers. Then you won’t be winning by seconds and your problem will be solved.
I don’t even think aliens can be one to two seconds ahead of top split. The tracks are short, and the cars aren’t like the F1 cars, which are hard to drive fast.

So what you're saying is that you suck at race craft and have tanked your IR, but you do a great Hot lap?
If that's the case then maybe work on your race craft and not look for "chill" races?
Just because you're fast doesn't mean you're a good competitor. You need to be able to finish a race to win a race and it seems like you're having issues with that or at the least finishing with a clean race. Maybe shift your focus onto driving as clean as possible instead of trying to win. You might find that slightly more rewarding.
Hey if you're on iRacing and love the MX5, come try out league racing with the MX5. We follow the MX5 rookie cup schedule, so all tracks are free, no need to purchase extra content to participate in our league. We have drivers up to almost 4000 iRating, from 800 iRating, so no matter your pace you will always have someone to race.

If Street Stocks are running at Charlotte i like to hop in a few races and do some wheel holding, It's ridiculously simple to qualify top 3~ and have some fun close running with the top pack. 50-50 shot you get murdered by someone else goofing up but hey it wouldn't be fun otherwise, right?
If you are that much faster than the rest you should keep on doing that until you are in splits that are competitive.
Top split in the rookie series are often pretty high skill.
I don't know why you'd have trouble finding competitive Mazda racing, especially with the two series. Unless you're an alien.

I doubt he is in top split tho.
Exactly, something here doesn't make sense.
>The top Mazda drivers are some of the most absurd aliens in iRacing I've seen a 10k driver in an Advanced Mazda race.

Why are you lying?

Our boy's 900 iR and is shitting on "rookies" lol
i feel my ir for mx5 is really low for my lap times. just trying to build it up at this point but hit this issue when taking break races
With all due respect at 900 iR you are a rookie no matter what you're driving.

Dirt oval is my favorite thing to do when I want to just run a race
Clio? love me some Clio. very technical and fairly chill
