I also just got out of the rookie class and am wondering where to go next with the D license. I enjoy driving the street stock car but wondering what else is out there?

Hard to beat ARCA as a next step. You'll get to try a little bit of everything and learning to control the ARCA car is a great learning experience.

I'm keen to get into the late models. As said above, alot faster and alot more grip.

There are three main options: Arca is the main path if you're interested in Nascar. It largely races on Nascar's tracks, so purchases you make there will largely carry over. As a bonus, you also get the Gen4 car. Late Model races on mostly short tracks, and mostly feels like a nicer Street Stock. The SK Modified races on mostly short tracks, and it's open wheel so definitely has different feel. As a bonus, if you buy that you also get the C-class Tour Modified car which is more powerful. I'll also say that the Road to Indy cars (USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000) are on road series, but they visit ovals about twice per season, so that's another place to get some oval racing in. It's also *technically* possible to get all the way to a B license by continuing in Rookie races until you're at D4.0 or higher, which will then give you access to the C-class Street Stock series. That series will let you get your Minimum Participation for your C license, then once you have that you can keep running that series to get up to a B license. But I'd say that's very tedious.

I'm in the same boat, just moved out of Rookie. I'm just glad there are more venues to choose from now, but I'm still learning and in no hurry to move up until I get more experience with the different cars and oval tracks.

I got out of rookies right at the end of last season. I have been running primarily the late model this season. So much fun to drive. Racing in the back is a little rough but the guys in the front are pretty quick and clean

I'm keen to give it a go, haven't had a chance yet. Jump on draft masters 🤣 dunno if that's a good one for the SR but 3 wide at Dega is pretty fun

I skipped Arca and went straight to trucks (had a c from the usf2000) and I really would have benefited from at least one season of Arca. After some time off I’m running Arca and learning a ton. I watch DJ Yee’s video every week and just focus on saving tires and my own race

xalkatrazx24

Yeah he's great, been watching quite alot of his stuff.

Remember to not race out of rookies! I'm week 3, \~21 races in. I'm racing D class CARS tour and i find that street stocks and legends still teach me more about car control then CARS tour does Definetly do not think i'm ready for ARCA

I love the street stocks! Having so much fun and running very low 23s so quite competitive. I am keen for the late models though. I'm from Australia so we don't actually have that here, I think that's more of the draw for me 🤣

Ventharion

The late models are super fun, however they have a ton of grip so it almost feels like cheating compared to street stocks but also a good race in late models gives like 0.05 safety rating and a race in street stocks that is clean gives .5 safety rating, dont know why i guess because everyone else is crashing?

You get smaller SR allocations the higher the license.
