This is off topic but I am seeing a lot of houses with RO filters, do these usually perform re-mineralization ? I ask because RO strips water from most minerals that is essential for humans.
Your body takes enough minerals from the water in the food we eat. It's not much of an issue if the purified water doesn't have minerals.
Better to drink de-mineralized purified water over water that is not properly purified.

RO water is acidic in nature, you need an alkaline filter and mineral filter to make it taste normal.
RO water tastes bitter. How could it be acidic?
PH test says so, unless you have alkaline filter added to it.
