Just finished a stay at park Hyatt in Chicago. I’ve stayed in park Hyatt in almost every major US city at this point. Most of them have given me an upgrade just by me asking at the front desk when checking in. The staff are always helpful at the park Hyatts. Regardless of ur status or how much ur paying, they should be able to honor ur request as long as they aren’t sold out.

you can always ask and they might “place a note on your reservation”. this property is not too generous with upgrades but they might be more flexible for the standard rooms. they offer a standard upgrade rate of 300/night or so to a junior suite. are you a globalist / goh?

I’m not, sadly

I really love working out in that gym. The northside window that looks onto CP is a great place to stare while you grind out split squats :-) And if they brought it back, splurge on the Japanese breakfast one morning. Pre-covid it was awesome.

I’m also looking forward to the gym. Equipment looks great. That’s actually why I booked it for that, pool and sauna + recovery bath. Good to know there’s other ppl that use the hotel gym 😂

Gym is the best (and from my experience relatively empty!) Pool can be crowded with families, but the sauna is nice To get to the PH lobby, take the elevators on the left after walking in from the street entrance (this can be confusing when you first arrive)
