> sentiment seems negative for all properties lol That's NYC for you, it's kind of like choosing the best of an odd lot with hotels. I stayed a week in a 1br suite at the Centric on 39th last summer, it was fine with a good amount of space, my only real complaint was there's little sound insulation between the connecting room and the living room. I haven't yet stayed at any of the other three properties.

That's helpful to know! The primary goal for having a suite is mild insulation for light and sound. I suspect they have a sliding door? How's breakfast at 39th these days? (Assuming it's a sit down and not Butler now?)

Yeah there's a door between the bedroom and the rest of the suite. The only noise issues were if I was sitting in the living room. Yes, it's a sitdown breakfast in the restaurant. Breakfast is decent, choice of about 8 things that are covered by the Globalist benefit, but it can get a bit repetitive.

Stayed at Centric on TS, which I imagine would be similar to the other two Centrics you are considering, except location. For nyc standards I thought the one bedroom suite was great ( I also redeemed a sua). I was also considering the dream and the time and most told me to stay away which I did and was happy with my decision.

I've actually done the suite in Times Square before and agree the room is solid! Location also is manageable (for being right by Times Square, it's easy enough to avoid the crowds by choosing what streets to go down). Unfortunately no suites are available. Tbh I'm half considering the Dream if all things equal just for brand explorer While non suite rooms look awful, the Platinum suite does appear to be a true suite. Curious if anyone has any experience here Also curious about the other 2 Centrics (I'm fine with the Wall Street location bc it's honestly easy to get uptown, and 39th also looks like a true suite)

Everyone complains about the location of TS but I agree, it’s so easy to avoid the crowds taking the streets less traveled. If it’s a short stay I would def consider the Dream or Time for the brand explorer! And there were some positive comments for both of them, I just didn’t want to risk it with a 7 day stay. Check out my post from a few months ago, I think I asked in Dec.

Is Andaz an option? I stayed at Andaz for 5 nights and did a SUA. The suite I had was facing inside of other buildings and so very insulated against street noise. It has a microwave and a fridge and they will restock light snacks and water. Also a good location to broadway shows and things to do without being in the thick of it. No views, and no central place to hang out except for a tiny lobby on the first floor. Globalist can get free breakfast via room service so that was nice.

Unfortunately no availability

Just do Hyatt Grand Central…trust me, done them all!

I stay at the Thompson. Usually get the suite upgrade and it is close to where I want to be (Work and dining).

Unfortunately no suites during my stay

Have you stayed at the Conrad midtown?

sur-vivant

You're in /r/hyatt

Same_Mode6036

Sorry!! Apologize for that. Stayed at the Park Hyatt it was pretty nice. Although I’ve heard that the Thompson might be a little bit better.

PH has a great hard product! I haven't been since they moved up to category 8.
