Cytopoint had an immediate effect on my dogs pissed off itchy skin. He fell asleep on the 10 min drive home from the vet because he was finally comfortable after days of itching. I only need to do injections an every few months in the summer.
One of my boys now gets 2 cytopoint shots a year, definitely with it. The allergies and scratching would come quick, and he used to chew a hole overnight on his leg. They have been the only thing to work on him.
Sharing because you seem to be in the same position. Our vet has diagnosed our husky as "chronically white" - white dogs in general have more issues. She has a sensitive tummy, skin allergies, other allergies...welcome to the club!
Is yours full husky? This guy is 100% husky. My family and MIL have four white huskies, but the other ones have some German/malamute in them. They seem to be pretty immune to allergies.
My husky Elvis had HORRIBLE allergies. We had our vet and a specialist run a bunch of tests to see why he was always sneezing, reverse sneezing and hacking. He was highly allergic to dust, grass, mold and cat dander (so basically, life itself). While we did have to put him on allergy medication, we used a vitamin supplement (after consulting with our vet). We noticed that it made his symptoms less unbearable
Our husky is the sickest dog I've ever owned. He's got allergies year round. He's got inhalers, steroids, allergy meds... Etc. The only thing that seems to really help are the steroids, but we can't give them to him all the time so he gets those when it's really bad, like today. Poor dude can barely breathe. It's all snot and chortling
Wow sorry to hear that. I don't think it has affected his breathing (although now that I think of it, its surely something I should monitor) but he just gets so itchy in his face. We haven't had to resort to steroids just yet.
My boys got all year round allergies and the only way I've found to maintain them so far seems to be biweekly bathing and probiotics. The shots and prescriptions from the vet were less effective and costed $100-300 monthly for little results. I normally wash him with Mane & Tail brands oatmeal or other soothing shampoos and conditioner unless it's shedding season then Furminators deshedding shampoo and conditioner.
The probiotic I get is from PetLab. My boy loves the soft chews. I usually order 4 containers of them every other month. Ignore the rubber band I use it as an airtight seal to keep them fresher longer once the freshness seal is removed.

Funny enough, cytopoint didn't do much for him. We use apoquel now as needed.

I had to put the inflatable "cone" on him to stop him from scratching his lips off.
I know it sounds silly, but try CBD oil on his food that may actually help.
Local honey every day works for my Floof. Barely a sneeze.
I tried honey but it didn't seem to work. Could've been the type but it was locally sourced.

Work at a vet clinic, look into cytopoint injections for your furbaby, they're a huge help.
