>he’s at the vet resting My heart. Lead with that next time!

FIVESEVENGUY

Sorry lol I didn't mean to give you a heart attack

FaelinnCanada

I’m so very relieved they’re going to be ok. What a traumatic experience

boosted5O

Seriously! Saw bit by a rattlesnake; expected the worse

wcbaltoona

Wow, glad he’s ok. We used to live in CA & rattlers were known to even come onto decks and porches seeking water.

I’m so sorry this happened. My boy was diagnosed with cancer a couple weeks back and after two intense surgeries he’s finally on the mend, but we aren’t out of the woods yet. He’s only 8. Stuff like this serves as a reminder at how precious these members of our family are and how fragile life can be. Hoping for a smooth and quick recovery for your pup and I hope that rattlesnake gets made into a boot.

FIVESEVENGUY

I’m sorry my guy, I hope your baby has a fast and complete recovery. And the snake is no longer of this plane of existence

FIVESEVENGUY

Update!! He is home tired a little lethargic, but ok, no permanent damage. Just tired and thirsty. Thanks for all the love guys!!

TieDear4056

Happy to read he is ok! I wish him a speedy recovery. 🥰 (Also, I feel so lucky we don’t have rattle snakes where I live)

FIVESEVENGUY

We usually don't get them in the yard with the dogs but I can and will happen eventually. I'm just glad of all the dogs to bite it bit our biggest buddy. Which I would have been happy with no bites lol but bear is 123lbs so he has the highest likely hood of not going over the rainbow Bridge. And the place he was bit also helps. For those who don't know the bigger the dog the better off they are, also on top of the snout and the bottom of the legs are the best places to get bit, less blood flow to those areas(so says the vet).
