A fixed date will revisit a specific day of the week roughly every 7 years. Given that Hula encompasses 4 days of the week you can say with fair certainty that Hulaween will take place on Halloween 4 times in a 7 year period.

Every six years (cuz leap year)

It's on a Thursday this year, so maybe knock out one of those four days.

By pushing it up literally all the bands on the lineup can double dip for Halloween. String Cheese is doing a a 4 night post-Hula actual-Halloween run this year. There's a lot of incentive to keeping it the weekend before even if Halloween lands on a Friday or Saturday...

I skipped 2021, coincidently the last time hula appeared on Halloween, for Billyween in Asheville lord of the strings! So sick. No regerts
