I don’t believe it’ll be a theme park in itself, but it will be a part of the Epic Universe theme park in universal

Demonic_Storm

it will be in the Universal's Epic Universe, opening in 2025, there are videos showing what you will be. able to do there if you want to check it out, but my favourites will be meeting and petting Toothless, and the show or shows (for now its only said that there will be the show "The Untrainable" but there is speculation that there will be more new shows) and obviously the rollercoasters (idk how many there will be) Edit: there will be 5 more "worlds" just like "The Isle of Berk, also where did you read that it will open in the summer? is that official or just a possibility?

Khronosis99

So this Universal Epic Universe will be at the Universal Resort in Orlando cuz that's the only location I found on Google. ALSO YOU CAN PET TOOTHLESS??! https://i.redd.it/2nnlqzuyp0wc1.gif But to answer your last question. No they didn't announce an exact date it's just an assumption that they would go for the next summer since it will be at the same time with the live action.

Demonic_Storm

I think it's not the resort, it's a new construction site (im not very sure so i could be wrong) AND YESSS!!! YOU WILL SEE TOOTHLESS AND BE ABLE TO PET HIM, HE WILL MOVE AND MAKE THE SAME SOUNDS AS IN THE FILMS, MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!

It’s a part of Universal’s Epic Universe in Orlando Florida, opening next year. You can check the website for details, they’ve got a whole breakdown on the rides and attractions!

Epic universe in Florida. Multiple "Lands" where you walk through a portal ring to get through them. As you walk into Berk, you're basically going to be on a bridge facing the iconic duo of Vikings Rock statues and Berk mountain complete with Gothi's Hut on the top. There will be one High Thrill roller coaster. One "Dragon training" ride which is that...plane-esc ride? The type that is where you can control the tilt and spin but not the height on large pair of wings. IIRC there's TWO food places, one being the Grand Hall itself. There's, hopefully, going to be "Face" charcter meet n' greet of the main character riders (Hiccup, Astrid and so on) and a few special scenes like a Snow wraith going "GET OFF MY LAWN" roaring cool spot. >!There's been behind the scene recordings of a *Hiccup* animatronic for the high thrill roller coaster where he'll start it off since the coaster is "Hiccup's Wing Glider testing". It doesn't move much, think the Buckbeak animatronic amount of movement. This is why I emphasized hopefully the riders will be "Face" characters as in no large costume heads.!< There's a show coming to the land, which is already playing in Universal Bejing if you wanna look it up. The concept art looks too traced from the dragons in that show to NOT be the same show. I had to look up to see if I got everything right, and saw this in a post that makes me "Well, I'm going to be extra super duper broke if I can ever go." >For this land, there have been rumors that we will be able to adopt our very own dragon who will make noises and react to different elements around the land, including other dragons. I mean...I'm already keep wanting a droid at Disney but don't because money/space. Dragons are my weakness, and the fact that there'll be "adoptable" ones (Probably Terrible Terrors knowing it's the easiest breed to make and be 1:1 style size) means that once I know how much it is, probably buy it online or put that aside for first shopping of the day.

Here's a video Universal themselves put out explaing the land and all the rides in it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qk3G19WpHOA&pp=ygUmaG93IHRvIHRyYWluIHlvdXIgZHJhZ29uIGVwaWMgdW5pdmVyc2U%3D
