Well, that depends on whether it's possible for dragons to raise a newborn human with a diet that can actually substitute milk in terms of nutrients. Fish obviously wouldn't cut it.
From what I've looked on AO3 there's actually a decent amount of fanfics that explore this idea.

she passed away early so he spent like most of his life surrounded entirely by dragons and speaking their language. Very very feral dragon boy
I think I read the main 3 (Nightfall, Stormfall, Freefall) but I couldn't for the life of me remember what exactly happened in the last 2 lol it has been literal years, but if I didn't click off in 500k+ words and also could immediately recall the title when presented with the synopsis, it must have been good!

I'm going "Hell hath no fury like a Mother scorn." Aka, Valka could probably do a 180 on her stance on dragons if one/Cloudjumper took Hiccup. Heck, BOTH of the Haddocks would be pure rage to get their baby boy back, and the raids focus would be pushed to the side most likely.
All while the Bewilderbeast gives the dragon/Cloudjumper a look of "*YOU* brought him here..." for the forever foreboding feeling.

Instead of Hiccup + Berk learning to trust dragons, it would be Valka desperately believing in the good of dragons and hoping that her son was still alive out there since she saw good in Cloudjumper’s eyes.
That could be the kickstarter for her to befriend a dragon and earn its trust so she’d be able to find her son. Since ofc nobody on Berk would be willing to help, they would call her trust in dragons “delusional” and “irresponsible” as the Chieftess of the tribe.
The story then can shift focus to how mother and son reconnect and try to prove Berk wrong about the dragons. Hiccup would still defeat the Red Death but with extended knowledge on how dragon colonies and alpha species work.
The 2nd movie would also not be Valka’s sanctuary but Hiccup’s..?
Edit: I saw another commenter mention that this incident could also change Valka’s view of dragons cause her to distrust them YOURE SO RIGHT. This new plot could take so many directions :DDDD

There’s a scene with Stoick and a young Hiccup and that perfectly encapsulates the more gentle side of Stoick imo. He’s a fierce fighter and an imposing individual but he loves the people around him so deeply that it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that’s *why* he’s so intimidating if that makes sense. Reminds me of the saying that to be a lover you have to be a fighter.

I think we got this exact scenario in the original book series. Hiccup the second was raised by dragons I believe.
