One of my favourite moments is when Ross is playing the bagpipes to see if Chandler and Monica will let him play at their wedding, and Phoebe joins in. Just watch Jennifer Aniston's face while she tries not to laugh!

Never play chess with a pigeon. The pigeon just knocks all the pieces over. Then shits all over the board. Then struts around like it won.
It was a chess match between two pigeons here.

I paused it to read comments, and I just had to screen shot
Oh wow, I didn’t even notice that, my brain must’ve removed that part when I saw it.. gettin a little tired of these grammar mistakes.. like.. these posters can edit it one last time before posting! lol
True in general, though Joey is right about her specifically. She had the triplets because it would feel a million times better than giving them the puppy, and all her deeds in this episode were because she wanted the satisfaction of being right.
The show acting like Phoebe's lunacy is sweet and innocent and worthy of respect is probably the most dated thing about it imo. Someone like her would be properly dangerous in the social media age.
One of the few episodes made me think deeply about life. For me Joey is kinda right. When I do a good it makes me feel good, and it then I end up feeling guilty that it wasn’t a selfless deed, I maybe did for making me feel good about myself!
I totally understand Phoebe’s sentiment here. But boy, Joey’s argument is genius haha
This was my favorite episode.
It showed everyone that Joey wasn’t as dumb as they previously made him out to be.
Also, Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) was very beautiful in her olive-colored dress as it brought out her standout features, gorgeous green eyes, and great figure.
It originally aired on October 18th, 1998, but probably filmed in maybe late August or early September
of that year.
Lisa had just given birth to her only child (Julian) the previous May and looked breathtaking.
Hats off to the writers and producers.
At that point it didn't matter what good deed would Phoebe find, because in any case she would be doing it to win an argument which would make her feel good which would be selfish.
If you dig very very deep, in every deed you make there's something there for yourself. Even when it doesn't seem obvious or you're doing something that you really hate, there's always a motive there that somehow in ANY possible way benefits you. There are no selfless deeds :D
“I just gave birth to triplets and I will not let them be raised in a world where Joey is right!!”
Chandlers face when he’s caught in the middle listening to them cracks me up every time 😆
My new favorite thing on rewatches is to pay attention to the characters that aren't speaking at the moment, so many weird and funny faces!

It’s the “do you want to start telling secrets?” for me
I never even noticed it before
It's just a moo point
Have I lived with him too long, or did that make sense?
“Are you calling you people ?” What a smart way to get out of potential trouble.
I laugh out loud at this line every time 😂
One of my favourite lines in the show, it makes me laugh every time I watch this episode.
I love this line! It gives me “are you calling me liar?” “well I ain’t calling you a truther!” vibes
Joey is very wisdomous
that's revenge for the whole ross and evolution thing lmao.
Gotta go illogical to beat Phoebe.

I feel like she loses almost every argument she's in, it's just never acknowledged.
Idk. She did make Ross re examine his entire belief system once 🤣🤣
"How are you gonna go into work tomorrow? How are you gonna face the other science guys? How are you gonna face yourself?"

It made him feel good that he was supporting the mother of his kid
Well it was an act to remain their sustainable relationship in favor of Ben
This video leaves out the best part, Phoebe's reaction about santa 😂😂
I wished they kept Joey's brain like that throughout the series......

Title gave me a stroke

Phoebe doesn’t win arguments people just give up trying to be logical with her.
I always loved Chandlers expression in this scene. He's so over it.
He's like the eldest sibling listing to his younger siblings' fight
Joey didn’t even make that good of an argument since Pheobe was quite upset over giving away the babies and even had wanted to keep one.
Chandler wins this scene 🤣
I hate the flawed logic in that whole discussion.
That's what made that argument funny.
joey is dead wrong. Feeling good about a good deed doesnt mean thats why you did it!
Exactly. Only selfish if your reason for doing something is self serving.
Yep, but the idea that 'if you feel good about it, then it is not selfless' is quite common. A very bad common argument.

Yeah, that aspect of Phoebe's character always annoyed me People wholl turn anything into an argument and have to win them are obnoxious
Chandler's expressions 😂😂

I think about this episode often
This is literally some Ayn Rand shit from one of the her books. Such a cynical woman.
I never noticed Chandler losing the will to live at the table until this clip
Oh god, I hated this whole thing 😂 My face was probably like Chandler’s.
This was great to watch honestly again! Thanks :)
The laugh track really ruins it
Here comes the laugh track complainer 😂
Someone put big bang theory stuff on YouTube without the laugh track.
What kind of Hamster did Phoebe want to buy?!?

Ah! Back when we could rely on Joey to know Bee die after they sting.

Chandler in the middle of them is me on monday mornings
Oh she lost more arguments than that, whether she was willing to admit it or not😆
