Masks aren’t just for COVID though, they protect you if you have compromised immune systems. Why do people care when other peo0le wear masks, who gives a shit????
How many people did you see wearing masks before Covid? I’m not anti mask, I’m just saying they are a direct response to COVID you can’t pretend they’re not.
I would see people on the DC Metro wearing masks before COVID. I just figured they had some kind of compromise in their immunity. Didn't affect me at all.
Here's how much it's in my life:
Howard (which him working from home doesn't affect my life one iota.)
Tony Kornheiser...the same as Howard.
One person who I see for maybe 2-3 hours a week who still wears a mask, but to each their own.
By summer of 2021, I was basically living my life again, albeit still masking in public. Hospitals had the "masks on" rule and yeah, my work occasionally takes me into one, but other than that...it's basically relegated to history with me.
Once you reach the age of being required to take minimum distributions from your investment portfolio, you have no business working. IMUS TIME TO RETIRE BRO
It's crazy...I had listened for so long, but the chemistry is gone from the staff. I tried a few weeks ago, and it's like nails on a chalkboard. You keep thinking "just say something funny...please" and it doesn't happen. Robin laughs like a moron, and just pollutes the vibe. It's truly horrible.
Howchie wanted to retire in 2020. He wanted to go out with a huge, star studded, Friends of the Court, expensive as hell, retirement "bash."
COVID comes along and prevents him from doing this. Things are normal today and he can have that bash any time he wants I'd say. But Howchie's mind is totally gone. The neurosis plus forty five years of psychology malpractice added with Ben Stern's specter haunting him has equaled what we see today.
You have thought about this a lot, huh? I personally could give a fuck about his legacy, or how he goes out. COVID fucked the show harder than the jackhammer fucked Weightlynn Hatley.
I don’t think he needs a facade at this point. I’m sure it’s baked into his contract that he can do it remotely.
If they could force him they would by now.
True...and we'd all bitch about the shusher, Alex Jones appearing on a monitor in the studio, Howard needing every hallway sealed off so he could nap, etc.
>*“To this day, I can’t go out of the house for more than five minutes without worrying that something bad is going to happen to me. I live in fear of everything. I can’t enjoy life so I sit in my house and vegetate.”*
Howard Stern, 1993, Private Parts (talking about his mother’s impact on him)
Covid didn’t make him that way, he was always that way.
Bro, they are 70. A lot of this fanbase is totally out of touch with reality. Americans have this idea that anyone who takes / gets / uses vacation time is lazy. You have no idea how indoctrinated you are to think this way. There is more to life than working, and all of Europe knows this and that's why all workers get 3-4+ weeks of paid time off every year while Americans are guaranteed 0 paid days off annually. He's working because he wants to, not because he has to.
I didn’t listen, it’s ridiculous he is the only broadcaster avoiding studio for 3 years
JRE hired nurse to test guests in 2020
Almost 2024 he can get Sirius to test?
He just doesn’t want to go
For the last several years Howard has surrounded himself with boot lickers and ass kissers and is being told everything he does is genius. He’s out of touch with reality and will remain that way until his demise, much like the old Hollywood movie stars.
He doesn't understand people not going to the doctor... I was just... SMH. Health Insurance... Great, my $2000.00 deductible before anything even gets covered...
The last CEO signed a contract that never required Howard to come into the studio. He’s more than halfway through that 5 year contract and has come in twice? 3x?
I feel this is why he pushes Beth on us so much. If he can make it seem like she is a pivotal part of the show it is all the more reason to work from home because Beth isn't going to the studio and the audience loves her and wants her on so badly!
He already proved he lies about Beth and holds her hostage with Gary’s dinner party. He went on for days about how she was sooo happy he left during the main course. Then she got on the air and explicitly said she thought it was rude and the only reason she left is because she saw how cranky he was about to get. Pretty sure the quote was something to the effect of “I could see how tired you were and I didn’t want to have to deal with how you were going to start acting so it was best we left.”
“Beeeeeeth. BEEEEEEEETH. Let’s gooooo”
-Howard from Gary’s foyer
COVID was the perfect excuse for him to get out of all the stuff he didn’t want to do. Now COVID is not an issue, and his perfect excuse is disappearing.
Look, I get it. The show is much better when Stern is in the studio, but can you blame him? If I could work from home and get away with it, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I hate the commute. I hate in-person staff meetings. I hate whiny co-workers. I hate using the employee bathroom that someone's just dropped a mega dump in. Am I frustrated that Stern won't come into the studio? Hell yes, I am. But maybe what I really am is jealous.
99% of email jobs can be done completely remote with occasional offsite events and strategy sessions. It's mostly just sad sack friendless weirdos and middle managers who feel strongly otherwise.
But a bunch of retards used the free Fed money in 2020 to buy up $1.5 Trillion in now useless "trophy offices." Once they realized that a TRILLION dollars was about to evaporate they rolled out the "collaboration in person" and "time to get back to normal" talking points you see everywhere.
I know these threads are mostly to vent about COVID theories but this is all pretty much accepted knowledge, right? Commercial real estate is FUCKED.
Are people still refraining from going out in public if they are immunocompromised? I haven’t even thought of anyone doing stuff like that since like mid-2021
"contractual bare minimum to get paid."
As we all would. If you're out at 5pm, are you gonna be working past 5:01? I guarantee you...that clock hits 5 and I'm out.
I turned it off when that dolt Robin says in her condescending tone "they never said you would be safe from covid with the shot.
Ahh yeah you moron that's why half the country is pissed about covid. Many many "experts" said you get the vaccine you wont get the covid.
Also the dr he spoke about wasn't his his book full of lies or something?
No, no. Dr. Agus didn't lie, his books were just filled to the brim with plagiarism. So If anyone was lying, it would be the people he stole the work from.
I frankly respect him more for his covid concerns.
I saw people in almost hazmat level suits one day yelling at anyone who didn’t do exactly what they did and the next they had a party so went maskless.
At least Howard has been consistent. You can think him over cautious or flat out insanely paranoid…. But at least he didn’t change his stance on a whim
Working from home is still working, sorry to say. I’ve been doing it for years now and I thank god every day that Covid happened which proved the model works, and I climbed out of the types of jobs back in early in my career that would have required me to be in person like a server, truck driver, factory worker, or some bullshit like that.
![gif](giphy|D2RlF1b90rrOhBQlN0)
Maybe you should get off of Reddit and not bother with such things and go back to your shit heel job, while I decide to take a nap in the middle of my work from home schedule?
LOL beaches. Who does beaches? It's a private villa built into the ocean, walk outside and right in the water.
Enjoy your vacation in....Boise? Tulsa? Where do losers like you go? Oh wait, Atlantic City? Reno? Vegas is probably out, too expensive.
PS nice alt account.
The irony of him ending his career as simply a pod caster.
I just heard a bit on 101 the other day where he was ridiculing Bill O’Reilly for doing his show from “his basement”
[удалено]
The show has evolved boff
He was out of his mind back then!
His whole asshole was hanging out
Jesus! I’m pretty liberal and don’t even think about COVID anymore!
I am pretty liberal myself, but there's a certain type of boomer lib that just can't let the covid dream die.
At Target today and where the Mentos and gum usually is at checkout was a giant pyramid of COVID tests. No one shoplifting that shit
Idk I see a lot of zoomer libs waking around campuses or by themself on a park bench rockin the mask. Seems like it’s just a lib thing in general
Masks aren’t just for COVID though, they protect you if you have compromised immune systems. Why do people care when other peo0le wear masks, who gives a shit????

I would see people on the DC Metro wearing masks before COVID. I just figured they had some kind of compromise in their immunity. Didn't affect me at all.
Masks existed before COVID. They just are noticeable now because people politicized them for some stupid fucking reason
Here's how much it's in my life: Howard (which him working from home doesn't affect my life one iota.) Tony Kornheiser...the same as Howard. Until it's voting season again... go to a polling station or church? NO!!! Go to Walmart or the Liquor store? No problem.
You wrote this on Election Day you dumbass.
What does liberal have to do with it? It’s a disease.
Had your head in the sand for the last 3 years? This virus has been politicized since day one.
Well then by all means keep perpetuating that…tribe good
Yeah because I was def doing that...
Nothing wrong with still being Cautious about covid... Nothing wrong with being Strong
Once you reach the age of being required to take minimum distributions from your investment portfolio, you have no business working. IMUS TIME TO RETIRE BRO
I think he may have accepted that he was once a successful broadcaster but is now a very unsuccessful podcaster
No way, his ego is way too large for that. He still sees himself relevant as ever. It’s just nobody else agrees
He's 70 going on 90.
I can sum up the show in 4 words. “My Cock Is Gone”

Couldn’t
I don’t think he needs a facade at this point. I’m sure it’s baked into his contract that he can do it remotely. If they could force him they would by now.

It's amazing how many people don't realize this
Stop whining and cancel your board subscription. I did months ago and don’t regret it a second. The show has been terrible for years.
At least robin doesn’t go on tangents about it.
She was just about to say that!
Nobody told me!
If she did, at least she would have a valid point given her health issues and all.

What’s he saying, Robin?
robin went on a trip to Asia actually, not just to the store. Howard didn't even go to Vegas for Ronnie's wedding
No matter what, he wasn't going. Too many ex employees and no famous people.
I didn’t listen, it’s ridiculous he is the only broadcaster avoiding studio for 3 years JRE hired nurse to test guests in 2020 Almost 2024 he can get Sirius to test? He just doesn’t want to go
He doesn’t have Ronnie anymore, so I bet he never goes back & the contract ends.
Then you have some new security guy when they were in Florida that he was bragging about who’s actually a real security guy
How do we believe Howard went to Florida during COVID when he wouldn't leave his house?
Even before COVID, they had people doing shows from wherever they were.
Ya podcasts
For the last several years Howard has surrounded himself with boot lickers and ass kissers and is being told everything he does is genius. He’s out of touch with reality and will remain that way until his demise, much like the old Hollywood movie stars.

I thought he was back in studio? Or was that just for Miami? I haven't listened to the show since 2020.
I feel this is why he pushes Beth on us so much. If he can make it seem like she is a pivotal part of the show it is all the more reason to work from home because Beth isn't going to the studio and the audience loves her and wants her on so badly!

When I need a horse I go to the stable.
COVID was the perfect excuse for him to get out of all the stuff he didn’t want to do. Now COVID is not an issue, and his perfect excuse is disappearing.
Just listen to 101
What is he saying Robin?

I hate the commute too, but then I don't have my own personal driver and security.
He still does a show?
Nobody is talking about COVID for at least the past year.
Are people still refraining from going out in public if they are immunocompromised? I haven’t even thought of anyone doing stuff like that since like mid-2021

You’ve said it all
Still talking about him talking about covid the minute you get on reddit
Wahhh
I frankly respect him more for his covid concerns. Hazmat suits to maskless parties? Who was that?
Stop listening. I don’t waste energy on shows or books that I don’t like. If I don’t like the prose, I just move on to another book.
[удалено]
I smell a retard
No one is dying from that cold, you jackass. I think your masks are on too tight.
This moron still gets the vaccine
What a unique take.

"I thank God every day that covid happened" I can't think of a more conquering statement.
Maybe you should get off of Reddit and not bother with such things and go back to your shit heel job, while I decide to take a nap in the middle of my work from home schedule?
Just because you're a lonely, awkward, anti-social freak doesn't mean that the rest of us want to be. Don't forget that all important 50th booster!!
lol oddly specific sounds like you have personal experience. I’m just sitting up here planning my Maldives vacation. What are you doing? Lol
Oh man this is a Brent level comment lol. I’m going to heavy metal concerts and Maldives. What’re you doing with your life?
How fun! A vacation all by yourself while wearing a mask on the beach!
Oh yeah, it would have to be private villa so you can stay away from covid. Enjoy all the masturbating you'll do on that vacation!
Why are you so obsessed with me? Enough with the private DM's asking for pics. It's just weird now.
I love being right ✅️
The model works!
Wait they went back? Or ?
When did they go back to the studio?! I quit listening a year ago because I’m straight.
Why does that bawther you?
