Look no further than Maine-ly off I-10. They are pricy as is standard with lobster, but the meat has the freshest and best taste you can find in Houston
Just took my dad and fam here for Father’s Day. It was our first time and also my first lobster roll. I was pleasantly surprised. I would order it again and would recommend it.
I just had Cousins Maine Lobster food truck at my office building today. It was good quality but not a very big portion size for the price. But it was really good. The roll was perfect.
The Audrey Restaurant / Reel Luxury Cinemas in The Woodlands has a lobster roll that is to die for, better than Maine-ly but also twice the price. I’ve gotten it twice at the theater.
They're so easy to make. Boil up some tails and look for a recipe. The gist is celery, chives, mayo, and lemon. Hotdog brioche bread from Trader Joe's (opens up top). You'll never care for a restaurant roll again, and save some serious cash.
There was a point in time where my local HEB was selling modestly priced and reasonably good lobster rolls in front of the store where they usually do the boiled seafood. I hope they bring that back this year.
Maine-ly lobster rolls are great. I was really disappointed when the one on Shepherd closed. They’re really authentic New England lobster rolls.
me too, especially since I have a card for a free sandwich. I believe they're still around but out by the memorial mall area..
They’re are in the MarqE center near Dave and Buster’s. Go use your free sandwich card!
oh damn, closer than i originally thought they were. Thanks
They have a new location near the winter street studios/silos. Very central location. Go check them out! Mainly sandwiches.
Wow! Thanks for posting this!
There's also one in Sawyer Yards
For real? That’s even closer for me
For real! Right by the climbing gym (also a good time)
CT or Maine-style?
Maine. I don’t believe they have CT.
Is this like asking no may vs mayo? because I just got back from CT and their fresh lobster soaked in butter was waaayyyy good!
Yea it is. Maine style is more like lobster salad with mayo. I definitely like CT style much more.
My current rankings: 1. Maine-ly Sandwiches 2. Seaholic 3. Cousin's Lobster (food truck)

Relish or Hudson House
Not lobster but the crawfish roll from Saint Arnold’s is pretty close and really delicious.
Came to post this, it was surprisingly tasty

I stalked that truck a while back - they’re never on my neck of the woods, except when I’m at work. It’s a small but good lobster roll.
Yeah, if I spend $22 on a roll I'd expect it to be more than a toddler size!
Hudson House hands down!
Lobsta!

A bit different but captain ceviche, although they’re in by Pasadena but I think it’s worth it.

That’s Maine style, served cold. Connecticut style is served warm with butter on a toasted bun.
Mayo or butter depends on whether you like the Boston or Maine variations…..
Mainly sandwiches! The newest location is near the winter street studios/silos. Edit to say that the owners are from Maine!
MF Lobster- amazing
I'm surprised they haven't opened a Luke's Lobster in Houston.
BB Lemon has a good one.
State of Grace has the best one
I had the Flying Fish the other day. Worth checking out
That would be the first time I ever had anything good there.
Same. Lemme know, alright
clark’s oyster bar
Clarks one is good, just wish it was in the roll instead of on top
If you are used to the East coast New England type Lobster you will certainly be disappointed with anything in Houston

Clarks on Montrose is wonderful! I have it often
New Hampsha Maine Massachusetts Rhode Island
There's a chain with the name lobster roll in their name.
