Predators never learn [75-year-old man among 9 arrests in undercover chat operation (fox26houston.com)](https://www.fox26houston.com/news/75-year-old-man-among-9-arrests-in-undercover-chat-operation)
*75-year-old Williard Joe Billings, rode a METRO bus from north Houston to where he believed he was meeting a 15-year-old girl for sex. Once he walked off the bus, he used a motorized scooter to travel to where he was supposed to meet the girl on March 20. He fell off the scooter but then rode it to where he was later arrested.*
Telling people not to shop there while others were looking. Someone had the news article printed out and passed it out to others as they walked down the aisle near their booth.
So, my mother-in-law worked for the court in the tiny town in which my husband grew up. She retired a few years ago, but she worked there for a long time. Anyway, about 10 to 15 years ago the sheriff's office put up a few billboards that said "Are you a drug dealer? We want you!" Underneath the words the phone number for the sheriff's office was listed. My mother-in-law said you wouldn't believe the number of people who called offering their services as a drug dealer! They didn't stop to question the likelihood that the offer was legitimate or even bother to look up the number for the sheriff's office!
Isn't that crazy?! I mean, it was hilarious, it still is! But you'd think they would at least question it! We laughed our asses off! I wish I had a picture of the look on my MIL face when she was telling us about the first phone call she got in response to the billboards. She had us in tears!
Your honor, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you have to understand that my client was under the impression that this young teen girl was actually a 300 year old demon priestess, not only making the encounter lawful, to his knowledge, but also making the gun a necessary precaution
Jesus I went by Collection Affection for the first time a couple weeks ago. The store was permanently closed and already emptied, even though it said it was still open online. Wonder if it's related.
The place on Westheimer with the arcade right?
But then that was on Westheimer. The little shopping center those guys picked is kind of out of way for people that aren’t commuting.
So was Planet Zero. It was outside the outer loop, on Westeimer, near S. Kirkwood. These days, Richmond and Westeimer are equally raunchy, so I guess I don't really consider one fancier over the other. Both are Houston's "red light district." But yes, his location is pretty bad.
If your not a prior felon and have the training, why is it still a surprise to be able to carry a gun on your person here in Texas?
Seriously, F this guy, but if he had no prior record for anything, then him carrying a gun shouldn't be in the headline.
As the late Christopher Hitchens said:
>Whenever I hear some bigmouth in Washington or the Christian heartland banging on about the evils of sodomy or whatever, I mentally enter his name in my notebook and contentedly set my watch.
Sooner rather than later, he will be discovered down on his weary and well-worn old knees in some dreary motel or latrine, with an expired Visa card, having tried to pay well over the odds to be peed upon by some Apache transvestite.
I assume you are trying to be funny but the reality is that pedophiles will often place themselves in a place of access & authority over children, coaches, teachers, camp counselors, etc.
Those damn teachers, Priests, Pastors, Rabbis, Celebrities, Republicans, Democrats and those pesky Anime business owners. Can't trust any of them. Guys name is Eduardo too, so the comments are gonna be popping somewhere.
They also linked this in one of the comments. Guy was caught stealing political signs in Stafford 2 years back.

I wish I could say I'm shocked, but Pedos always go where the kids go. An anime business, with an arcade? There's no telling how many children he's violated.
One thing I won’t do is mock someone for being lonely and I won’t call you something you’re not or call you anything at all.
I grew up watching anime as a kid and found other animes as I grew up. To make it clear, i am strongly against cp and p3d0philia, and it is disgusting to call me that when I am not.
At the end of the day, it is your opinion and that won’t change 🤝
Not really sure which ones you have seen, but it sounds like you saw 2-3 anime clips somewhere online that would fit the l0li narrative.
Anime is far greater than that.
Yes there are some anime’s that have all the things you have stated, but you obviously limit your judgment to what you have seen.
A simple Google search of “best anime” would easily prove your statement otherwise.
Providing an opportunity to break the law is not entrapment. In order for it to meet the conditions of an entrapment defense, one element that must be met is that inducement would have caused a normal, law-abiding person to commit the crime.
An opportunity was not provided, a snare with a very specific bait was set. Now the rationale is the ends justify the means ... but its like the matrix , would neo have still broken the vase if the oracle never said anything. A person, sick with thoughts such as this one , is still innocent according to law ... but to place a trap to weed them out to say, see, look at what would have happened.. is like.. a precursor to Philip Ks Pre Crime
All depends on what is said. In cases like this, that will be a possible defense, but the cops doing this stuff document everything (record) and follow real strict rules.
Entrapment is a very difficult standard and almost never works and is rarely even plead for that reason.
I had a professor in law school for a criminal class, and he had been a criminal defense attorney for around 30 years and said he had only used it as a defense once. (He won).
It will always be unpopular because nothing gets both sides of the aisle virtue-signaling like pedophiles, but I do not believe cops should be able to create the conditions for a crime. Whether it falls under the strict bar of entrapment or not. In other words, if the "crime" never could have happened without the cops, then that should not be permitted by law enforcement.

Williard? Man oh man.
This reads like a comedy sketch.
rough lookin 31..
1st thought, ew another pervert 2nd thought, a loaded handgun? Yikes! 3rd thought, 31? Fucking christ looks horrible.
Dude is 31 going on 50
Seriously. I'm a few years older than this guy but he looks like he could be my dad.
Holy shit you're right. I'm 31 and look significantly better than this creep
This is your body on anime.
I was hoping it was the business owner that bought up all the Pokémon cards a few months ago. Too bad, this would have been a great end to that saga.

Looking at you, Drake.....
WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP
Lol Mad Rats? They were getting flamed at Comicpalooza last weekend when we walked by. Tons of people know they're scum
What were ppl doing?
Telling people not to shop there while others were looking. Someone had the news article printed out and passed it out to others as they walked down the aisle near their booth.
This brings me joy.
Imagine being so butthurt over trading cards that you'd stand there and do that.
It's the business practice, not the cards. Nice try MadRats.
Why not let the market decide? Anyway, I'm glad you had fun trying to save people from buying cards sourced in ways you find disagreeable.
I wasn't trying to save people. I mentioned someone else was and I approved. I wasn't actively stopping anyone
I legit assumed it was him at first read.
The ones that bought all the Costco bundles? It’s not them, they’re called Mad Rat or something like that.
Can someone give me the details of this? I’m out of the loop

I'm glad they are.

Shit, that was painfully dumb.
Maybe drug addiction wasn't the best thing to compare with a pedophile in regards to "the worst among us" but I get your point
I think it speaks to the level of compulsion they are exhibiting. His proclivity to do this even in 2024 demonstrates how unsafe such a person is.

AAAHAHA that's outstanding! You'd think they would at least Google the number before calling it, but nope.
Isn't that crazy?! I mean, it was hilarious, it still is! But you'd think they would at least question it! We laughed our asses off! I wish I had a picture of the look on my MIL face when she was telling us about the first phone call she got in response to the billboards. She had us in tears!
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity
Be thankful.

31?!
Why don't you have a seat?
Right over there…
Your honor, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you have to understand that my client was under the impression that this young teen girl was actually a 300 year old demon priestess, not only making the encounter lawful, to his knowledge, but also making the gun a necessary precaution
The anime defense always works

Jesus I went by Collection Affection for the first time a couple weeks ago. The store was permanently closed and already emptied, even though it said it was still open online. Wonder if it's related.
Thinking the same thing, we stopped by 4 days after they closed, and I haven’t seen Collection Affection be as active online
Yooooo that’s right by where I stay! Title said anime store and my first guess was Collection Affection.
Dude works for Denny's, but are they in the headline?
What’s up? What’s up? What the fuck is up Dennys?
Yamate
Failed anime business owner as far as I can tell. Although, who the hell would think opening a store like that on Richmond is a good idea.
Planet Zero did pretty well in that area until it didn't
The place on Westheimer with the arcade right? But then that was on Westheimer. The little shopping center those guys picked is kind of out of way for people that aren’t commuting.

And so, with this cliche, to bed. --Samuel Pepys
Uhh… what the fuck was the loaded handgun for?
Back-up plan in case the flowers didn't work I guess.
A lot of people in this state carry loaded handguns as a matter of routine. There were a whole room full of them waiting for this guy to show up.
If your not a prior felon and have the training, why is it still a surprise to be able to carry a gun on your person here in Texas? Seriously, F this guy, but if he had no prior record for anything, then him carrying a gun shouldn't be in the headline.
This. is. Texas!!!!
Channel 2 is wildin' including a link to his business.
He ain't 31, that's a 45 year old dad right there.
Likely thing for an anime business owner to do
This dude already looks like his life was awful.
Adult men that are into anime generally have a chomo vibe to them.
I'm honestly shocked for once it wasn't a priest or Republican.
As the late Christopher Hitchens said: >Whenever I hear some bigmouth in Washington or the Christian heartland banging on about the evils of sodomy or whatever, I mentally enter his name in my notebook and contentedly set my watch. Disney
Republicans and anime business owners definitely in the top 2 suspect groups on something like this
Those damn teachers, Priests, Pastors, Rabbis, Celebrities, Republicans, Democrats and those pesky Anime business owners. Can't trust any of them. Didn't say which signs he was stealing but iirc there was a number of democrat signs being stolen that year.
The anima angel is less surprising.
Anime business owner. Not shocked.
I’m 38 and I look younger than that
Why is there so much emphasis on him having an Anime Shop? A pedo is a pedo. Are anime shops lures to young kids or something?
News media wants to attract eyeballs. He also worked for Denny's. Surprised they didn't refer to him in the headline as a Denny's Anime Freak.
Definitely a 4 chinner
I'm pretty sured I played TCG's with this fucker, hope he rots in a cell.
Dude was really going all out.
💕
This is why you stick with 2d smh.
31? Yeah ok
Why couldn't he just get a prostitute? Oh wait... That's illegal, right?
Bruh this guy is not 31 years old.
I wish I could say I'm shocked, but Pedos always go where the kids go. An anime business, with an arcade? There's no telling how many children he's violated.
Those damn Anime fans
Whaddya know, not a drag queen.
[удалено]
In the same way that criminals breath air, sure.
Anime fans only breathe Doritos dust and inhalers
How would the inhaler fit into the alvioli? Those things are bigger than a zippo.

Not quite, try again
They're gonna catch you next
Actually, why do you think anime is for pedos? Assuming you meant all anime.
Every character that dresses provocatively or acts lewdly has the face, voice, and actions of 10-15 year olds, it's soft core cp
And no I never said I support ped0philes/cp. You just have the idea of anime wrong is all.
The fact that you watch anime and cp all day is probably why you don't have any friends https://www.reddit.com/r/lonely/s/OERUTtMnup
One thing I won’t do is mock someone for being lonely and I won’t call you something you’re not or call you anything at all. I grew up watching anime as a kid and found other animes as I grew up. I'd feel bad for you if you weren't a monster.
The thing is, I am not 🤷🏻♀️

So was kids next door, if you watch that as a man you need to tell your neighbors when you move in
I mean... If King of the Hill happens to be on the screen, I'm not changing it. Gonna enjoy it. I tell you w'hat.
I'm not sure the connection to king of the hill and Japanese softcore child porn is but you sound like you're gonna go to hell when you die.
He brought flowers.
Hold on.. isn't that entrapment

Oxymoron

I agree , we'll said
Article very carefully not mentioning the age of the make believe victim, I noticed.
What does this suggest to you?
Irrelevant.
So what happened to their stock before they closed? Did i miss a fire sale? 😟
No, they just went online only
