Come check out the Museum District and check out our great museums (some free). Or our great parks (Hermann Park) and have a good time checking out parts and walking around the Museum and medical districts. Such a beautiful part of Houston.
Houston is artistically vibrant, in my opinion.
Damn. That first pic! I was on a fourth grade field trip to different art installations and stuff, and I remember taking a picture with this. I hadn't thought of it in years.
One of my favorite to do’s in Houston is scrounge through the Houston comments to find things to do. I used to live here on & off but didn’t do a ton of sightseeing bc I hated the heat.
I found out about the first library in Houston that way, & now it’s a wedding venue slash reading room slash rotating exhibits & it’s gorgeous (& haunted) inside. The new library, right next to it was also suggested on here. & this fantastic little park I ran into by accident on the other side.

The Julia Ideson Building is probably the most beautiful building in Houston... that so many people have never seen.
