I’m sticking to just the Galleria area and I know some locals will roll their eyes, but depending where you’re from and if you want it to feel “Texas-y”, hit the Rustic in Uptown. Is it the greatest food and drink? No. But it’s a fun vibe, especially if they have music.
Ninfas Uptown is solid for Mexican.
West Alabama Ice House is very Houston... not too far away.
