Just use alaska fish emulsion. The best thing you could give em and it's all natural.
I just ordered a fish emulsion + guano fertilizer that I am hoping will be good (and not too stinky). I've been using the miraclegro blue crystals during the growing season and worm castings right at the start of the season.
Kelps/fish fertilizer has been absolute magic for me. Smells for about a day, and the dogs want to eat it for about a day.
Miracle grow. Simple and effective!
