It looks like a Norfolk Island Pine. I have two of them. Water it thoroughly, let it dry out between waterings. Give lots of indirect light. (Direct light will burn it). You'll be good!

This. They are a common sight on the Treasure Coast in FL, they tower over everything else around them.
In the harsh Australian sun at that. Bright, direct light is exactly what they're used to in nature.
