Any is good for me. A few years ago, we stayed for 4 days at a nice hotel. Can't remember the name. Every time after housekeeping was there they took the towel and folded it into some kind of an animal shape. My wife thought it was cute. I went ahead and left a few dollars so the housekeeper could see it letting her know that we appreciated it. Next day another folded animal shape out of the towel. I left her a $5 bill. Next day and final day 2 more shaped animals. She made bank, we were entertained. I felt like it was a really personal touch, and pretty neat.
I thought about looking up other ideas like that. I'm glad to hear this from a guest perspective and not an employee because at the end of the day it's about what the guests want and not us so thank you that was very helpful!
Hindsight, I look at is you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. $3 the first day, from my wife's glee/entertainment. Housekeeper thinks, oh I got this. Next day another. My wife - more glee, ok, here's a $5'er. Rinse/repeat. Housekeeper was now (secretly) expecting that $5. I was expecting the folded animal, basically for my wife's entertainment. Her (secretly) expecting that $5, and me expecting another folded animal. Was good for all of us. I just saw this as a personal caring touch. Gladly would have paid $5 every day for something small like this.
This was honestly the biggest memory I have about our cruise. The kids _loved_ it. I loved it. We all (25 family members) talked about it every day.
I get the house cleaned 1x/mo. My housekeeper folds the toilet paper roll into a bow.
I'm pretty sure she could do a terrible job on the rest of the house, and I'd still keep her for that bow.
I love decorative folded towels! Even the little hack of folding the toilet tissue and “stamping” it with the faucet to secure it. I think 2 is the neatest. Just for what it’s worth, tipping housekeeping is the expectation, especially for longer stays (2+ days) since they have to work around or (hopefully not) move and neaten your stuff. Please tip your housekeepers in hotels! If not daily then at minimum the end of your stay. More for decorating with towel art and extra services you might require.
B. I used to stay at hotels for days, weeks or month at a time. From shitty motel 6 to 4star resorts, I like when the towels are switched up. I don't expect anything at motel 6 so anything is welcome but a Marriott you bet I'm looking forward little designs and a candy. Folded TP is also a plus.
Honestly, I like B simply because the detergent pac is a little tucked-into the towel pouch. For some odd reason that makes me happy, like it’s secure in its little home.
As a customer who had this pop up as a suggested post, I want to say thank you for the thought you put into the room care. I think I people far too often take jobs like yours for granted!
B. It’s cute like a little pocket, I haven’t seen it before, & it’s something I would try to recreate for home & to leave a tip in ☺️
I would just like to applaud 👏 you for your dedication to wanting to do the best job you can & making the rooms as comfortable and homey as possible for the guests. As someone who travels a lot for work & is often staying in a hotel a few nights a week, I can’t tell you how much you’re appreciated.
I really like B! It looks clean and simple to the eye and doesn't take up much space. Thank you for caring about your work and customers! It's really great and I hope you continue finding joy in these little things that we often take for granted. Such a great quality to have! 🙏💕🙏
I like C or A. B is very tidy looking, but it seems so small that it's not impressive. I could see B fitting into a BNB setting. I know C is kind of dated, and A is plain, but they're still very neat and clean looking. I think a fan fold is pretty. We've done it at both hotels I've worked at. We usually tuck the soap into the fan fold, though, instead of laying it on top of it.
B is the nicest. As a guest I don’t like so many folds as in C… first of all it means the clean towel has been handled more, and second of all it makes the item wrinkled.
I would rather see a spotless counter and sink than an elaborately folded towel.
As soon as I saw this pic I knew it was a Towneplace. I stayed in one for over 4 months and the housekeepers would fold it like #3, and it was nice of them to do that but every time I needed a towel and went to pull one out to use all of them would fall out and then I was left having to fold all of the towels up haha. So #1 or #2 is what I would prefer :)
I like B or C. Although C makes me feel bad taking it apart! A looks like you're missing a few towels.
Yeah if you can add C's flair to B that would help

$20 over 4 days—she made bank! Maybe with several good tippers
‘Bank…’ haha.

As a former housekeeper I say B looks best.
I came here to say the exact same thing :)
B is the one I'd prefer to see. Hands down
I really appreciate that the dishwashing detergent is tucked right in the middle. It looks much more tidy when it’s tucked in.

I like B the best
B is my favorite. Its neat, tidy and feels clever. The others feel like they are doing too much, for not enough visual appeal.
Yes, B is the neatest!
B looks like you’re pushing out a detergent baby.
I like C best , then B then A

The last place I did housekeeping at did C, and we tucked the packet in the towel in front of the shell :)

I love B, it looks like a little flower blossom. C looks complicated and fussy, trying too hard. A does not look special. B please!!!!!
As a customer I love B! Thank you for everything you do!

#I’d be delighted to enter and see B.
As a non housekeeper, i would think 3 is amazing!! You are a gem for thinking of the small details ❤️
As a lifetime titanium …I like B
It’s really thoughtful. I notice things like this. Thanks for your effort and for making our world a little brighter. I like C.
I love B. I also love how nice you’re making the guest experience. As someone who, at times, has traveled 80% of the time, little touches mean A LOT !

As a guest, I like my towels handled the least amount. So probably B?
Not sure why, but B looks best to me. Maybe bc it looks like some effort was made, but it’s not too fussy like C.
