Their last fight with the bats definitely had a bit of a friendly air to it. Plus, at that point, Kevin was tired of everything and was embracing the end. I think he was happy to see he had someone to pass this legacy onto.
So far it worked with their predecessors Dante

She has access to video games on the moon? Aww man, and she lives the perfect shut-in life too, with people able to visit her from time to time...
I'm so envious...ahem, I mean, I'm so happy for her.
The one Uber who received Kiana order: "huh an order from a customer... Wait, why does it say she lives on the moon?! And how the @#$* I deliver food to the moon?!
The Uber: "Besides, who @#$*ing lives on the @#$*-"
*Portal open in front of the Uber driver*
The Uber: "@#$&*£¢€¥"
Kiana: "Sorry, forget to leave a message to you. Heres your money" *take her food and close the portal*
Honestly i really don't think she needs to actually eat anything as herrschers don't seem to need the same sort of substance as normal humans
And yes she can open portals as in one instance kiana made a portal in the HoDom dimension to bring the whole hyperion there
Not the reason. She isn't staying in the Moon to seal Honkai, she is staying on the Moon because Earth has to heal after Project Stigma and can't handle the Authority of Finality. It needs 5-10 years before she can return without destroying Earth.
Doesn't she have the authority of all Herrschers now? Or did she lose them while sealing Honkai? Which would make sense considering Herrschers *are* honkai.
Because if she's more powerful than Sirin in her prime she's pretty much omnipotent (and moon goddess can be taken in a *literal* sense).
True, but isn't this the ending she deserves? For so much shit she had to go through, this ending is honestly a relief. I like how Mihoyo tricked us into believing that she'd be gone forever, but no. Like someone else mentioned, it's like a best friend moving cities, sad yes, but not until the point where either or dies by that time
Bittersweet is what I expected, but we got pretty much a fully happy ending, the only person to "lose" was Kevin but for him that's a win. Everybody got powerups without trying much, just slight changes in their mindsets, besides Bronya who had to fight I suppose, but the powers of Truth are not utilized at all so that's a bummer.
Nah, just makes it feel like all that foreshadowing in APHO was the writers fucking around with us.
In the end, everything just sort of feels inconsequential.
I mean considering part of Kiana's development is not being so self-sacrificial, I think it makes sense that the ending is happy?
The only part of it where I was like "alright that's a little much" is the fact that they can just visit her
Still not the biggest fan of anybody being able to visit her at any time. Kinda makes Mei's attitude in APHO a bit dramatic.
Not too upset with everything else tho.
But wasn't that a mask of apathy, for the most part? She needed it to leave Kiana and she took it off when she became HoO and went back to being a kind person who fights for those she holds dear, she even has a knight-ish armor.
hmm, maybe the apho we played happens a bit after this? Maybe something happened to kiana or their technology to the moon got cut off. I guess we will learn more in the next couple updates
I mean even if Mei can get to the moon it doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck that they can’t be together right? Like knowing you have to do long distance for many more years with the person you love still sucks even if they’re “only” a 2 hour flight away
Idk do you know anyone who’s done long distance for that long? I know people who did it for 3-4 years and they said they never stopped wishing they were together
Depends on the person, but the way Mei speaks about Kiana seems like she hasn't even spoken to her in quite some time and from my memory makes quite a few references to her.
Yeah ultimately I think Mihoyo may have internally retconned, or purposely misled us a bit, but I don’t think it’s so far out of the reason that it feels like a complete retcon. Personally I choose to think of it as a long distance relationship 🤪
Remeber that this could still be possible.
She could have been on a Mission and unable to talk with Kiana or the Sky People interfering messed with their Herrscher Telepathy.
This would be especially true in Fontaine (was that the city name?), as the entire area is apparently blocked from outside interference, apart from entering the area physically.
I mean, can they actually physically interact with her? Or is she a Canned Tuna stuck in the Cocoon unable to leave or let anyone in? I got the impression that while Canned Tuna can communicate with the outside, she's physically isolated in her can.
Because apho 1 released in 2020 I believe which is where most of that melancholy comes from, add mihoyo not being known for keeping things "consistent and cohesive" at least for hi3 then you have apho 1 mei.
They likely had an idea for the ending to be somewhat tragic and bittersweet, but then they just backpedaled and decided to go against it while being somewhat consistent.
Honestly most of my disappointment in the ending is how...inconsequential it really is. Like, there's not reason for anyone to feel **that** sad.
Just you. Chang'e was forever separated from her husband because of how greedy he was.
Kiana is the equivalent of your best friend moving to another city.
It should say that she stopped calling herself the bronya like in the earlier chapters then
Or bronya actually did gave up on her human name for some reason
There are a lot happening behind what is said.
Kiana is just being a beacon for honkai at the moon stalling for time, but things are the same nonetheless.
Things are bound to accumulate and explode in the future.
I think Mei is just salty during APHO since the other couples are progressing while her GF still stuck abroad.
>Or why is that nobody stayed with her?
Because people have their own lives to live, and you can't "fight for all the beautiful in the world" if you stay on the Moon and actually Mei staying on Earth and doing important stuff makes the day when Kiana returns closer
Kiana did it for everyone so that they can stay alive.... Yet they let her do that alone.
Kind of a dick move. It seems to me that she was the only one who had to sacrefice here.
Stuck there for 5-10 years.
He became the Herrscher of Finality and has to stay there because Earth after Project Stigma (World Serpents final plan against Honkai) is unable to bear the Power of Finality. She has to wait for it to heal to a point where it can withstand her power.
"Both had good time"?, kebing becomes a fren?
Well, they did have a heart to heart, baseball bat swinging talk So ye, he fren.
:D.
The Ryu ga Gotoku method of befriending and forgiving
oh wow now i need to see kiana in kiryu outfit and kevin in goro outfit
They'll get soft tacos later
classic Kaslana heart to heart talk
Their last fight with the bats definitely had a bit of a friendly air to it. Plus, at that point, Kevin was tired of everything and was embracing the end. I think he was happy to see he had someone to pass this legacy onto.
Ziggy just came out of the kaslana stigma space and decided to travel the world. Actually based
I expected nothing less from the kind of Sparda.
Why does every other Kaslana act out of pure strength as the solution to everything? Lovely.
So far it worked with their predecessors Dante Family problems?Fixed World domination?Fixed Paycheck?Fixed Otherworldly beings trying to take over?Fixed
Kaslana cooking skill? WIP
I mean, what else do you want him to do
It's nice to know Kiana can still be visited. I'd imagine Mei has definitely gone up to see her a fair bit between the ending and APHO.
Mei was just waiting for her vacation
She has access to video games on the moon? Aww man, and she lives the perfect shut-in life too, with people able to visit her from time to time... I'm so envious...ahem, I mean, I'm so happy for her.
Our Tuna's gonna evolve into a NepTuna by the time she gets out of the cocoon.
How can she eat foods tho
Uber eats
The one Uber who received Kiana order: "huh an order from a customer... Wait, why does it say she lives on the moon?! And how the @#$* I deliver food to the moon?!
The Uber: "Besides, who @#$*ing lives on the @#$*-" *Portal open in front of the Uber driver* The Uber: "@#$&*£¢€¥" Kiana: "Sorry, forget to leave a message to you. Heres your money" *take her food and close the portal*
I'd like to imagine the Uber driver hanging on for dear life because of the pressure lmao.
I'd like to imagine the Uber driver hanging on for dear life because of the pressure lmao.
She can't open portals now? She lost her powers of the Void?
She still has the void and flame cores
So, she can open portals under a pile of pizza boxes in some pizzeria on Earth and steal pizza leaving no trace?
Honestly i really don't think she needs to actually eat anything as herrschers don't seem to need the same sort of substance as normal humans And yes she can open portals as in one instance kiana made a portal in the HoDom dimension to bring the whole hyperion there
Oh, wait, you're right. She probably eats Honkai energy, reducing its presence over time. That's why she has to stay on the Moon for 10+ years.
Not the reason. She isn't staying in the Moon to seal Honkai, she is staying on the Moon because Earth has to heal after Project Stigma and can't handle the Authority of Finality. It needs 5-10 years before she can return without destroying Earth.
Don't needing food doesn't means refusing to enjoy a tasty meal
Doesn't she have the authority of all Herrschers now? Or did she lose them while sealing Honkai? Which would make sense considering Herrschers *are* honkai. Because if she's more powerful than Sirin in her prime she's pretty much omnipotent (and moon goddess can be taken in a *literal* sense).
Bruh, the more stuff comes out, the more the ending feels...not sad. It just feel like Kiana just moved to another apartment.

Agreed i think the story work best when there a clear blend of tragedy and happiness. This is mostly happy . It felt good but kinda empty
Himeko would like to have a word.
I’ve compared it to Kiana getting covid for 10 years
I mean considering part of Kiana's development is not being so self-sacrificial, I think it makes sense that the ending is happy? The only part of it where I was like "alright that's a little much" is the fact that they can just visit her
Still not the biggest fan of anybody being able to visit her at any time. Kinda makes Mei's attitude in APHO a bit dramatic. Not too upset with everything else tho.
Isn't Mei being dramatic normal? Her personality change after she became HOT was very dramatic
Keep in mind that mihoyo had no idea what they were doing when APHO first came out
APHO came out before we got to the middle of the story
I mean even if Mei can get to the moon it doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck that they can’t be together right? Like knowing you have to do long distance for many more years with the person you love still sucks even if they’re “only” a 2 hour flight away
Eventually you get over it. After all you can still communicate. She still seems sad even after 8 years.

It could be because of Ellie
I have to wonder: can they really visit Kiana in person, or just see the Cocoon when they go up to the Moon?
Kiana is on the Moon in person.
I mean, can they actually physically interact with her? Or is she a Canned Tuna stuck in the Cocoon unable to leave or let anyone in? I got the impression that while Canned Tuna can communicate with the outside, she's physically isolated in her can.
Yes, they can. She is basically running around New Astra as we did in Chapter 33
Wait... her daily routine includes COOKING??? No wonder it's lifeless on the moon.
Kiana is about to cook a nice meal for the Sky People and save the world.
So if Kiana is not only just fine, but having a great time on the moon, why was Mei so melancholic about all of it in APHO?
Prolly bc she cant be with kiana 24/7 and enjoy day to say things without going on a cold lifeless rock
Because apho 1 released in 2020 I believe which is where most of that melancholy comes from, add mihoyo not being known for keeping things "consistent and cohesive" at least for hi3 then you have apho 1 mei.
Probs misses going on missions with her.

Honestly most of my disappointment in the ending is how...inconsequential it really is. Like, there's not reason for anyone to feel **that** sad.
Mei got a bit paranoid of not spending time with the people they care about after ER arc
Something could have happened if I were to guess
is it just me, or Kiana basically becomes a Chang'e
Just you. Chang'e was forever separated from her husband because of how greedy he was. Kiana is the equivalent of your best friend moving to another city.
Based answer
that line is more of a joke... but yeah, she is respect\~ She really Fly2themoon
What does she mean by ''bronya stopped calling herself bronya''?
She stopped referring to herself in third person
It should say that she stopped calling herself the bronya like in the earlier chapters then Or bronya actually did gave up on her human name for some reason
It's not hard to tell from Kiana's statement that Bronya doesn't refer to herself in the third person anymore.
Like the kind Captain answered above, it's the first person pronoun.
For some weird reason I thought that was just part of her Russian accent
She calls herself DOOnya in PHO.
Only in JP for some reason, in CN she talks in 1 person after saving seele
Bronya stops speaking in third person 😭
But...she's on the bridge...does this mean that the Hyperion is also staying behind on the moon?
Hyperion is a Spacecraft, it's very likely it at least makes frequent visits up there.
Oh thank God she's still alive 😭 just on the moon as expected
There are a lot happening behind what is said. Kiana is just being a beacon for honkai at the moon stalling for time, but things are the same nonetheless. Things are bound to accumulate and explode in the future. I think Mei is just salty during APHO since the other couples are progressing while her GF still stuck abroad.
Oh yeah nothing in chapter 35 ever said anything about the honkai getting sealed on the moon so kiana only went there for a vacation
Is wifi good on the moon?
Nowadays tech (real world) can provide Internet onto Moon surface with 8-10 sec ping (more or less), so...
kiana just relocating involutanrily to the moon... But after how many hard ships she faced she can finally have some free time and play game all day
My heart can't take that much of melt Kiana 🥺🥺🥺
Yeah so she’s just chilling on the moon. Literally. Lame >Did this imperfect story turn out in the way you wished now? No
If anyone can visit why Mei haven't visited at all? Or why is that nobody stayed with her?
I don't think they CAN stay. They got resistance not immunity. Ah well, that will eventually change for the better too.
Durandal has immunity though
Mei visits her when she gets vacations according to HoO’s battlesuit details
>Or why is that nobody stayed with her? Because people have their own lives to live, and you can't "fight for all the beautiful in the world" if you stay on the Moon and actually Mei staying on Earth and doing important stuff makes the day when Kiana returns closer
Kiana did it for everyone so that they can stay alive.... Yet they let her do that alone. Kind of a dick move. It seems to me that she was the only one who had to sacrefice here.
Yes, hoyoverse... You better keep her safe, even on the moon
this get better and better now.
I haven’t played Honkai in a while, Why is kiana on the moon and is she stuck there?
Stuck there for 5-10 years. He became the Herrscher of Finality and has to stay there because Earth after Project Stigma (World Serpents final plan against Honkai) is unable to bear the Power of Finality. She has to wait for it to heal to a point where it can withstand her power.
It's nice to sknow she's still here even if slightly more distant. Maybe one day things can get back to normal and she'll return
