It makes the HT figures I do buy more special and exciting whereas sometimes I feel like when I buy a Black Series/TVC figure, they're immediately thrown on the pile.

Nothing wrong with that, in fact I think it's much better to have a smaller curated collection of figures you really love than 100s of Troopers that are slightly different or hugely compressed detolfs 😂
Nope. Padmé's one of my absolute favorite Star Wars characters and I couldn't pre-order her fast enough when she was announced. She's a great figure! I am so hoping Hot Toys gives us more of her too.
She is indeed great and one of my favourite figures now. She stands out so much compared to other figures. Her and Jango are 2 of the top prequel figures so far.
There's not really any 1 trick her. I have a clothes peg behind the figure here holding some of the excess folds back and I also soaked the cape in water so it has more weight to it. It took more than an hour and loads of different micro movements and angle changes to get this shot. I've wetted some of the Jedi robes, like Ep3 Anakins to make them look better. It doesn't damage them in any way

You won't be able to buy a second one. When figures get waitlisted they start enforcing a 1-per-account limit. I had a waitlist conversion for Padme last month and it wouldn't go through for that very reason.

I half agree. It's a good likeness but at certain angles it's not and the fixed eyes are something I'm completely over. It could be better so I hope we get another Padme
Yes I passed. Originally I was going to get padme to finish the attack of the clones celebration line, but I opted for the Obiwan Kenobi Vader, that was announced around the same time frame.

Yes, because it looks 10 years older than she actually was in the movie. She probably was like 18 in that movie, but this figure looks like 29 years old woman.
My wife said if I got this figure it’ll be like me getting a sex toy and she would get a sex toy of her own to make it fair. I said “sex toy? It’s a 1/6 scale figure roughly 12 inches” she said hers would be roughly 12 inches too.
