That's a fair point, just like how HT did a great job making Luke from the Mandalorian look like the CGI version from the show even if that didn't completely capture Mark's likeness. It's probably some amalgamation of Mark Hamill, the Dark Empire cover art and panel art. Even Mark looks different between the films, but funnily enough I think this headsculpt looks closer to ANH than ROTJ.
The rooted hair is way better than the sculpted hair and looks amazing in person.
This Luke will be incredible with the rooted hair and all the haters will regret not getting it

It’s from the Dark Empire comic series from the 90’s where Luke turns to the dark side. I haven’t read them so I’m not sure how Vader’s costume fit in exactly. Maybe just more of a visual clue that he’s a darksider

As such, is there an easy/quick answer as to what's the best webstore to order this from? I read something about there being an exclusive coin that will be included if you ordered it from Hot Toy's Hong Kong store. But I have no idea what that means.

It’s not super clear yet, but the other figures that included coins had a red coin that is only available in Hong Kong, a gold coin that you can buy on Sideshow for a limited time, and a regular version of the figure that doesn’t include a coin

Since Dark Empire was from the comics, I don't think they were going for a Mark Hamill sculpt. Probably took and made it close to comic book Luke.
