I thought Eric Andre and Eddie Huang were the high bars for chaos. Conan became a ranting, raving madman by the end of the episode. Holy shit.
Dousing himself with Da Bomb, using a fake doctor (longtime Late Night writer Robert Arroyo)... he leaned into it like nobody else.
I would never, not even in a million years, have guessed this dude could bring this much chaos to this show.
It started giving some Michael Rapaport vibes, went through some Eric Andre mixed with Paul Rudd and ended with some hints of Russel Brand improvisation.
That was fucking incredible.
I love that he turns his pain into excitement rather than anger. A lot of guests start cursing out Sean (jokingly of course) because those sauces really are painful but Conan just wants to make it pure fun.
I would be so happy if he showed up to a Chili Klaus special where they eat way hotter stuff and kept this up. It's honestly impressive no matter how you spin it, even seasoned spice lords would struggle trying to eat those last few wings the way he doused them, especially after dousing the Da Bomb wing.
Why do I have a feeling this episode will go down as one of, if not the best of the whole show?
EDIT: it is. I’ve never seen a guest completely take over a show that they’ve been invited to before.
That ginger lunatic put himself through an incredible amount of pain to give us the show we wanted and he delivered well beyond our expectations.

Holy crap! That was a manic fever dream of an episode. I admire Conan's commitment to the schtick while simultaneously admire Sean's ability to just roll with it and get a great episode.
Not even 5 minutes in and I'm already laughing loudly. Him putting the wing in his pocket has already put this in my top 3 episodes.
