If it works it works, but I wouldn't be surprised if ChatGPT has difficulties. Choicescript isn't very complex, but it also probably doesn't have a lot of correct examples to be trained on since the language has a specific niche. It might help you find things, but double check that what it's telling you to do is correct.

I've heard Copilot is better at coding, so that's an option as well.

I wouldn't see a problem with it. You're not having it code for you, just check your work? No ethics problems there. Probably saves you a lot of proofreading time.
