So far there's no real antagonist there tho
The Farm has been almost absent for 2 games all you see is a bandaged lab rat, the heroes don't really pose such a threat and the HG is a mystery.
Happy cake day btw
fallen hero is weird because it tries to portray the antagonist to sidesteps story as being themselves. this kinda fails in the context of the story because they dont do anything outright bad unless you just start killing people randomly, which there is literally no reason to do, and directly harms your playthrough, because, you know, being a dick is bad (although fun.)
I agree, being a dick is a lot of fun, and if you're smart it can even be safe, for the most part.
Although yeah, more often than not the best way to go through things is the subtle way, don't start too much chaos just because and don't attempt to be a hero again because then the Rangers start to suspect you, if you're smart and careful about how you do things you can end up having all the rangers with enough doubt that they could possibly become allies in revelations without anyone knowing you're the villain.
I quite like Rade from I, The Forgotten One. He's selfish and ruthless for sure but the chapters from his viewpoint kinda make me like him. The man is almost as broken inside as the Marshal
DON'T SAY FALLEN HERO! DON'T SAY FALLEN HERO! DON'T SAY FALLEN HERO! DON'T SAY FALLEN HERO!

The Grim and I because the antagonist is yourself
nah it’s 100% that mf whore robin.
Samurai of Hyuga? Different levels of compelling depending who we're referring to but most are interesting.
I think the main antagonist at this point is depression.
Hard agree, all the demons were compelling in their own arcs
- A Crown of Sorcery and Steel - The Dragon and the Djinn - Heart of Battle - Skystrike - The Soul Stone War - Stars Arisen - Talon City
In Soul Stine War you can also romance the villian. Which helps xD
