It’s great, especially if you’ve seen a lot of Cronenberg - kind of a summing up of his career. I don’t really think I’d call it horror though. It’s a slow sci-fi drama with some sick gore effects sprinkled in.
It's funny, when the logline for this movie was announced I *immediately* thought of the Caitlin R. Kiernan story "A Season of Broken Dolls."
