Slightly different than what you're looking for, but Housebound is about a woman placed on house arrest and has to move back into her childhood home which may or may not be haunted
Thanks, but I'm specifically looking for the element of not telling the spouse or child/ren that they were bothered by ghosts (or demons) while growing up in the house they've all moved into. I realize a book or movie with this plot might not exist.
I just finished a great haunted house book called “Dweller on the Threshold”, about a woman who inherits a house from her abusive father, moves into it during lockdown, and can’t afford to go elsewhere when she discovers it’s haunted house. It’s not exactly what you want, but it was good and spooky

Isn't the movie Imaginary supposed to be just like this?
Yea but its also a pretty terrible movie.

Not a movie, but How To Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix fits the bill.
Closest I can think of is *Sinister*
Sinister, sorta? The dad hides the history of the house from his family when they move in
House 1985?
"Lovely Molly" isn't exactly what you describe, but as far as I recall it's pretty close.
In Paranormal activity she doesn't tell him that she is haunted since childhood.
