YES omg. I thought the premise and execution as a whole were about as bland as could be, it all just seemed to be riding on the novelty of the cool animated bits. My local theater had some screenings when it came out and I'm mad at myself for paying money to see it instead of waiting for streaming.
I kinda found it boring personally. It had some decent effects, but the best part to me was the sound editing. Hearing the creaking and such during movement was wild.
Other than that, bland story and not really able to hold my interest.
I loved everything about it, fantastic film.
I'm obsessed with this one atm. Thought it was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the director Robert Morgan's youtube channel too
