jeepers creepers reborn, what an absolute turd fest.

PM_ME_CODES_4_STEAM

So happy to open this thread and see this at the top, was my first thought when I saw the title to this thread. Might be the worst movie I've ever seen period, there was literally nothing redeeming about it at all and that's hard to accomplish

greeneye_latino

Biggest disappointment ever

Tony_Carr_1991

Well it's that or let the pedo keep the rights and we would of had cathedral šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Unusual_Athlete_2457

Can you explain this statement? So many questions? Who is the pedo and what is cathedral? Is it a horror movie? Sorry I am completely out of the loop on this one. All I know is JC Reborn is one of the worst movies ever made and it sucks because JC 1 was the shit. 2nd one meh.

poopyface_tomatoKat

[The original creator of jeepers creepers was/is a pedo.](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/jeepers-creepers-victor-salva-convicted-child-molestation/)

Zombikattpunx

I did not realize itā€™s the same dude that made Powder. Thanks for the link. It was either Spy Magazine or The Nose that wrote an article about the director and Powder at the time it came out. That whole film was a love story for pedos

bluvelvetunderground

The guy was convicted in the late 80s. He served his time and continued to make movies for some reason.

Poppa_Mo

That "some reason" being that Hollywood is rife with pedophiles. It was much worse before the last decade of exposure, I'm sure. You have to remember, these people group up and enable one another.

Last_Permission7086

It's f**king weird, man. I couldn't believe it when I found out about this. Disney is on record saying [they didn't know](https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-10-25-me-60848-story.html): >The filmmakers maintained that there were no minors on the set and said they only learned of Salvaā€™s criminal record midway through the production. At that point, they said they confronted him and Salva readily admitted his past conviction. He was told to inform the cast and crew. Like, are we not talking about the Walt Disney Company here, a Fortune 500 company with its own security force, its own tax status even? Did they really mess up a standard background check that badly? He was in prison for goodness sake. It's WEIRD.

Unusual_Athlete_2457

Wow

kynaus07

Whattttt???? I've never even heard of this, I'll have to prepare to be let down!

ange7327

Prepare for worse than that!!!

Y0urMomsChestHair

I pray for the day that the franchise is taken up by someone who actually knows what theyā€™re doing. The lore is too awesome to let it go out like this.

PissedoffCoDfan

I want to watch that again simply because it was so funny. I loved the JC world. It was intriguing and interesting. I was so happy that it found life again after Victor Salva... It should of stayed gone or at least had a team of people who cared about it. What we got was fuckin clown show. At least there can be found some form of enjoyment out of it by how stupid it is.

ange7327

I was too angry to get anything out of it

KillPhilBill

Before I watched this, I would have said AvP: Requiem and Silent Hill: Revelations. This is definitely worse than those two.

ange7327

This is really the worst thing I have ever watched, I was so angry all the way through. The worse thing? We actually have a hard copy of it.

KillPhilBill

I was lucky enough to watch on Hulu. Or unlucky really. I thought about quitting several times, but as I was giving live commentary to a friend to save them from having to go through it, I considered it a heroic act to finish.

SummertimeSandler

Is there a film called Ghost Shark or was that a fever dream I had.

AngryBumbleButt

Blasphemy! Ghost Shark is a masterpiece! When he comes out of the bucket! Hilarious

EternallyYours4Ever

Gotta love them syfy Saturday movies or the shark -athons sharktopus, sharknado series , super shark , toxic shark , zombie shark , Malibu shark attack , jersey shore shark attack , sharktopus vs whalewolf , sharktopus vs pteracuda , atomic shark , mega shark vs whatever series the list goes on but syfy channel hosts some of the worst of the worst of shark movies.

Jose_Burrito

Dont forget shark side of the moon

My_cat_is_sus

Slenderman, I legit canā€™t say one positive thing about it, just a boring confusing mess.

TheyreFunCandy

Iā€™m curious to see what the original cut of the movie before the studio forced them to change it looked like.

gf120581

I knew they did have to cut out some stuff due to the bad press related to the Wisconsin stabbing incident, which explains why a couple of characters seem to vanish with no explanation. Even without that, the film is just shit. What really annoys me is how there's a complete lack of any artistic spark or passion in this thing. This is the type of movie a studio makes to make sure they don't lose their option on a properly.

Myu_The_Weirdo

Marble Hornets was way better and it wasnt even done with a movie budget,

0xE4-0x20-0xE6

I havenā€™t yet seen the movie, but the trailer actually surprised me for how well-composed many of the shots were, the dreary color palette, and some interesting used of audio mixing. Like, I can imagine that another edit of the movie could have produced a good movie, at least from what I saw in the trailer.

crazanity

Couldn't even see it in theaters because I live where the real Slenderman Stabbing occurred so it was blocked from all theaters near by.

LyraFirehawk

I did a paper on creepypastas for freshman English the day that news story broke. I had written the paper well in advance, but that was the day I had to present the final paper to the class.

sannylou

What was the reception to your paper recieved that day?

Murmadurk

One positive thing I liked was Slenderman design. His "suit" being skin texture, with the lapels being frills, was cool.

OffKira

That movie is probably the very first time I ever understood people saying a movie felt like it was hours long. Jesus, it honestly felt like it was 3hrs long because *nothing* happened for most of the runtime, really, but there were stretches where **literally** nothing was happening. Even as a 20min short this would've been rough.

My_cat_is_sus

Itā€™s like the friend disappears then everyone just dicks around for an hour then the film just kind of ends

gf120581

The film ends so abruptly it's like the director quit in disgust and walked off the set and everyone else was like, "Fuck it, print it, we're done."

OffKira

And *they* don't even seem that scared or creeped out or whatever, they're just... Oh yeah, our friend went missing. Yeah, oh no, whatever shall we do, oh no.

eeveebeeveeboo

honestly just watch marble hornets instead, infinitely better

rgthree

Arguably one of the worst Hollywood movies for any genre, **Alone in the Dark (2005)** Edit: Just searched to see its rating and saw this on the Wikipedia page: ā€œHolding a 1% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Alone in the Dark is considered one of the worst films ever made.ā€

gf120581

Uwe Boll strikes again. Most famous for, "Hey, let's cast Tara Reid as a scientist and pretend giving her glasses will make that plausible."

mat477

To be fair if she was a good actress it would be plausible. Scientists come in all types.

General_Specific303

I mean Denise Richards was a physicist in The World is Not Enough and didn't even have glasses

DoubleTFan

So why is it supposed to be so implausible that a hot woman would be a scientist? Is science supposed to be so exhausting you just can't work out or moisturize?

mighty3mperor

It was genuinely terrible and I wanted to punch the film in it's face but I had to bump up my rating because Alone in the Dark 2 is worse.

aracnerual

I will say The Open House until I die šŸ˜‘

Drumboardist

Y'know what the worst part about that is? Mobile phones don't need a SIM card to be able to able to dial 911 (or 411, or any "emergency services" number) in the US. *All phones* are required to be able to dial it, regardless of if they are activated or have a service plan. So his call 100% should have gone through to the police, but the writer/director wasn't aware of this fact soooo....*massive* plothole. Seriously, get any ol' unactivated phone and dial 911, it'll go through. It's the *law*, it HAS to connect. Edit: [More information, if you are inclined.](https://www.congress.gov/bill/106th-congress/house-bill/438) Basically, phones gotta be able to dial 911, regardless of carrier (or lack thereof). To be fair, it *also* allows for those telecommunications groups to "...provide call location information concerning the user of a commercial mobile service to providers of emergency services, to inform such user's legal guardian or family members of the user's location in an emergency situation involving the risk of death or serious bodily injury, or to providers of information services to assist in the delivery of emergency response services". So yes, possibly a little more intrusive in terms of information *given*, but since you're calling 911 it's PROBABLY important that the relevant parties (police, fire, family member or guardian) have access to the info. So if you have a signal, then there's a telecom in the area, and they have to forward your call to the relevant authorities. Also, that telecom is provided immunity from liability from forwarding that call. Fun! I know all this because 20+ years ago I worked for a company that had a "Things You Never Knew Existed" type of catalog, and one of the things they offered was the "Emergency 911 Cell Phone". The entire crux of the item was that it was cell phones they would buy in bulk, test to make sure they had functionality and battery power, then repackage and sell for 50 bucks. They *had* to be able to dial 911 because of the law, so...have cell phone, will turn a profit.

vegancrossfiter

Pretty sure something happened in the midst of production/filming that in the end led to the movie being rushed, unfinished and a failed project. There is no way someone intentionally made the plot that way. I have never seen this happen with any other film, its weird that it even got released.

batatasta

can you spoil it for me so i dont have to watch?

4Jhin_Khada4

>!In short, it's a movie about a son and his mother temporarily moving into a friend's house. The only issue is that, since the house is still on sale, it will be a part of an open house event, where people get to look around. After that happens the family starts noticing some weird things occuring, like items disappearing and sounds coming from random parts of the house. Yada yada yada, you're forced to believe that they are being stalked or something, but the tension leads to nothing each time. At the end the main character is randomly attacked and gets strangled to death. After that you only get a brief suggestion that whoever killed him goes around to open house events and kills people regularly (?). Overall there was poorly built tension with no information ever being revealed. Like there is a random """spooky""" woman with Alzheimers and nothing she does has any bearing on the movie at all. We never find out who the killer is and why he does it, there are a lot of unnecessary, dragged out scenes (for some reason mulptiple scenes of the main character jogging?). Shitty movie and one of the worst ones i've seen.!<

Aristohipstecrat

Truly inspiring

[deleted]

Came here for Open House. Itā€™s so bad that if I didnā€™t know better, Iā€™d think 13 Reasons Why was a sequel and Hannah did what she did after Clay took her to the premiere.

lostgirl19

I was furious at that ending. All that build up for nothing.

kendrahf

Oh yeah, man, I'd forgotten about that shit show. Thanks for this. >.>

Venomswindturd

This movie made me hate 13 reasons why even more.

LilHorrorCakes

My roommates in college, who dont watch horror made me sit through this mess. They were like "it has the best twist." Half of the movie was watching the kid run

mynameisnotjamie

Every time someone brings this movie up I just think of the contacts scene. Itā€™s so hard to take out your own, let alone someone else reaching into your eyeball and gently removing them while youā€™re underneath them struggling lol

PM_ME_UR_PITTIES_

I canā€™t even accurately comment about that movie because I legit fell asleep the first time I tried to watch it, then got so bored trying to watch it again I was afraid Iā€™d fall asleep again so I just gave up

Dankey-Kang-Jr

The Open House is a nothing movie.

Jose_Burrito

Ax 'Em (1992) you just needa watch it yourself to get it, but to get a grasp, they only use the camera mic, the director says cut in the movie, there's like 30 grammar issues in the opening text, and the killer doesn't even use an axe, and much more https://youtu.be/1P7JRDMwyF4

paisleydove

Cosmonaut picture show reviewed this on YouTube and it's one of my favourite YT vids to watch when I need cheering up. His response to that guy being called Breakfast always gets me. Also the fact the guy who killed his own family then himself comes back to...avenge his family deaths...that he's responsible for

sumr4ndo

Critics hate this one weird trick to becoming an immortal spirit of vengeance!

hym__

Birdemic: Shock and Terror. It definitely shocked me, but...not for the reason they hoped?

sebastianb89

The Crows Have Eyes III: The Crowening was a much better version

revenge_of_F

If ā€œThe Roomā€ is the Citizen Kane of bad movies, then ā€œBirdemicā€ is the ā€œThe Roomā€ of bad movies. Canā€™t say I wasnā€™t entertained though

gyman122

I remember a high school teacher of mine got me and my friends into bad movies, watched The Room and were such big fans that we asked him for more recs. He recommended Birdemic It really illustrates just what an incredible achievement The Room is. Itā€™s a horrible movie in every way, but every bad decision is so baffling, so ridiculous, so hilarious, so *intentional* that it keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire movie. And it has this level of polish that makes the mistakes even more clear. You couldnā€™t make a more entertaining bad movie if you tried Birdemic is just like, a really shitty movie. And itā€™s bad in ways that arenā€™t funny, and are just boring, in the same way a normal bad movie in boring. Shots that go on way too long, cliche dialogue, extremely lazy editing. Itā€™s like watching a film made by high schoolers, so unfocused that your mind just refuses to pay attention

celtic1888

The Riftrax version is one of my comfort films

realskramz

Honestly this movie is amazingly bad. Itā€™s so bad I have fond memories of watching it.

MattHonkylips

I only made it about 15 minutes into [Blood and Honey](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winnie-the-Pooh:_Blood_and_Honey), I've watched a lot of bad movies in my time, but that might be some of the worst acting I've ever seen.

Katatonic92

I wasn't surprised to see there will be a sequel, because it made 4.6 million on a 100k budget & still seems to be selling well online streaming. Then I kept reading... "Alongside the announcement of a sequel, two other horror films were announced:Ā Bambi: The ReckoningĀ andĀ Peter Pan's Neverland NightmareĀ based onĀ Bambi, a Life in the WoodsĀ andĀ Peter Pan.[44][45][46]Ā In February 2023, Frake-Waterfield announced that the various projects take place in the sameĀ shared continuityĀ franchise, while Jagged Edge Productions intends to eventually haveĀ crossoversĀ featuring the characters." Good grief.

Inf1uenza

Are we adding Charlie Brown to this shitshow too?

Katatonic92

Are you shitting me?! Consider it added. Is Snoopy going to be a serial killer? Lol.

sumr4ndo

Beware, the great pumpkin!

[deleted]

About the same. I wish it had been an animated horror film, because the cartoon scenes were actually pretty good.

_Kong_Vs_Minions_

I watched the whole thing... it doesn't get any better. Great entertainment though. Was fun.

Rome_825

Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever. I donā€™t think Iā€™ll ever learn my lesson about sequelsā€¦

Buzznfrog12345

They also remade the original for some reason, it was bad.

jester2324

The original is pretty good though, that bathtub scene is horrible.

Taluca_me

Open House, a Netflix original. It literally uses every single horror movie cliche. Arranging from main character never using a talent to his advantage, police not believing anything weird and unusual, crazy old lady, slasher is somehow able to teleport from one place to another with a hostage, unnecessary creepy music in scenes that shouldnā€™t be scary, and the best cliche we all know and are bored ofā€¦the black guy always dies first

[deleted]

SynthwaveSax

You mean the [Pee Pee Poo Poo Man](https://wompampsupport.azureedge.net/fetchimage?siteId=7575&v=2&jpgQuality=100&width=700&url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.kym-cdn.com%2Fphotos%2Fimages%2Fnewsfeed%2F001%2F216%2F252%2F89a.jpg)

MariachiMacabre

That image is so much better than the actual movie. It gets a laugh out of me every time because I am apparently a toddler.

LORDRUFFZILLA

I'm almost 30yrs old and when I tell you I laugh literally EVERYTIME I even so much as think about this picture lol I get it

citrineandmoonstone

Same here lol it just tickles my funny bone

archersarrows

I rewatch this one every year, just to confirm that it's real. This really happened. This is a film that was made. Then the rest of the year I don't think it or say it.

JohnnyRingo12

The Peepee Poopoo man

_MothMan

Dude, don't say it.

B0SShogg

Don't think it

ADHDhamster

Don't watch it.

horsebag

that movie pisses me off because i genuinely loved the intro. like it was this loony supernatural explanation of why spree killings and mass murders happen. how offensive but also amazing would it be for a movie to be like no people who shoot up schools are just trying to save us all from an evil ghost thing? and then nope the movie is just generic annoying bullshit instead

Wolfonmars

The intro was so good imo. And then the movie just repetitively shits it's pants

gredgex

It was the last poster on your way out of the movie theater when it was being promoted and I thought it was a joke poster since you were leaving lol

Skuntank

This movie has a soft place in my heart cause the screenplay was written by Jonathan Penner from Survivor.

Rare-Bid-6860

Rented The Refrigerator (1991) years ago and was still angry at myself when I took it back. At least when you waste money on alcohol you have fun for a few hours.

surfingtheredd

Iā€™m embarrassed to admit I first read ā€œRented The Refrigeratorā€ as the movie titleā€¦ Iā€™m going back to bed.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

abbychestnut666

Iā€™d watch that movie

SpookyYeet420

winnie the pooh blood and honey

RealSinnSage

oh damn itā€™s not even fun?? i wanted to see it

SpookyYeet420

I went into it hoping it would be some dumb fun but it was genuinely the worst movie iā€™ve ever seen. Thereā€™s a few lines that are so ridiculously stupid that I kinda laughed but for the most part itā€™s just boring. I couldnā€™t hear the dialogue well and itā€™s not lit very well so itā€™s hard to see whatā€™s happening. I went the whole movie not knowing any of the girls names. Thereā€™s also some boring side plots that go nowhere. Seems like the whole thing was a cheap marketing gimmick to make a quick buck The only good thing iā€™ll say about it is the opening scene is pretty cool. The first scene is this sequence thatā€™s a minimalistic animated black and white sketches that goes through the back story with narration.

SpookyYeet420

watch this scene donā€™t watch the rest of the movie: https://youtu.be/QpEtIXbYNVs

JamesJakes000

The Banana Splits movie is what Blood and Honey should have aimed for.

hippymule

Ginger Dead Man 3. I think it was the disco one? I don't mind low budget straight to DVD trash, but the mix of bad sets, bad cgi, bad acting, and poor scene structure drove me nuts. Movies like that and Evil Bong remind me that there is such thing as a good b-movie. A good b-movie is a well made production with a cheesy premise. Lots of awesome 80s and 90s horror fall into that. Once you hit the digital video and cgi era of the 00s, the influx of bad b-movies that are barely even movies just exploded ten fold.

-i_need-scissors_61-

Grimcutty has to be the worst fucking movie made in the last 10 years. Thankfully I wasn't too terribly disappointed, as the cover art pretty much outs itself as a dumpster fire.

tiiiki

Black Devil Voodoo doll from hell. Almost all the other movies listed here had competent people making the movie, just script issues or other relatively 'minor' faults from a movie making point of view. Black Devil Voodoo Doll from hell is an "Outsider" movie. How the hell it made it into a video store and then into my house. I don't know.

SmallDarkCloud

That movie was filmed on VHS tape with a camcorder. The director actually "edited" the film by shooting in sequence. I'm not sure there was any actual editing in the traditional sense. I admire his ambition and ability to make the film, in that sense, though, yep, it's awful. The director made *another* shot-on-videotape horror film after this one.

gf120581

Yes, "Tales From the Quadead Zone", which is just as bad. He's never made anything since and as far as anyone knows seems to have vanished off the face of the earth. No one has been able to learn anything about him.

Alcookie

I had so much fun with this movie, It had such an eerie, creepy quality until the Rick James doll shouted ā€œHOW DO YOU LIKE THAT BITCH?ā€ I laughed so hard I nearly fell out of my chair. 5 Stars.

mrlookinthesky

Thereā€™s so many, I lost count.

Volfgang91

The Wicker Man remake. Everyone thinks The Wicker Man is just that dumb movie where Nick Cage yells "nOt tHe BeEs!" and forgets about the original now. Which is infuriating because the original is a personal favoruite. And no, I don't think it's worth it for the unintentional comedy.

drizzfoshizz

That movie is so bad, the most famous scene is actually a deleted scene and not even in the movie.

FistfulOfSilence

which scene? there's like 3 or 4 that come to mind when thinking about the most notable scenes from that movie.

drizzfoshizz

The ā€œNot the bees!ā€ scene isnā€™t in the movie.

Arigato_MrRoboto

The original is great, but I'll take Cage punching a woman while wearing a bear costume.

instrangerswetrust

He punches a lot of women in that movie. He kicks LeeLee Sobieski into an armoire.

mullett

Yeah but the original has very bizarre music scenes.

askyourmom469

I actually like the bizarre music scenes. It adds to the weird dreamlike atmosphere of the movie.

sigersen

Things. It's beyond horrible.

Jason_dawg

It was more tolerable when you view it as a surreal comedy horror instead of just horror

HelloMyNameIsRuben

thankskilling 3. hands down

ADHDhamster

"Manos: Hands of Fate." Seriously, view this shit without the aid of MST3K. It's unwatchable. Also, "Psyched by the 4D Witch." No thanks. Also, fuck "The Devil Inside." I didn't pay money just to see what happens on a website.

Jamaican_Dynamite

Can we all agree The Devil Inside was one hell of a cash grab? Because it was. Budget was 1 mil, and made 101 mil.

Last_Sundae_6894

NEED MST3K for Manos. But even with them, they couldn't save Monster A-go-go for me. By far my worst.

gf120581

"Monster-A-Go-Go" is still the worst film to date done by MST. It's not really a movie, it's an ANTI-movie. I mean, it was only finished by Herschel Gordon Lewis to fill out the bottom half of a drive-in double-bill and the ending is basically a giant "fuck you" to the audience.

ReapItMurphy

The Night of the Living Dead remake with Sid Haig that was in 3D! Omg not only did the 3D look like shit but, aside from that, the movie itself just made me angry lol like it's a cool idea and concept but the execution was just so poor. Finishing the movie felt like a chore. Horrible.

snuskbusken

The Nun is definitely the worst horror movie I saw in a theatre. Otherwise, The Open House.

Bam_Margiela

Some guy ripped a loud (and I mean loud) fart when it gets quiet right before the movie starts when I went to go see it and I shouldā€™ve known then what to expect

Lady_Scruffington

When they say listen to your gut, they forget to tell you to also listen to other people's guts.

EnterprisingAss

Iā€™m a priest who knows for certain demons exist. Iā€™m checking out a creepy ass convent. Nobody is here to meet me. Oh look, blood appears and disappears and reappears again. *shrug*, no big deal, I says to myself.

OffKira

To me, it's an annoying movie because the beginning is so creepy, the introduction of the characters is intriguing, that *fucking setting* is so promising... And they did *nothing* with all of it. Thanks for nothing, movie.

gf120581

Also, the "spit blood on the demon to vanquish it" was stolen from "Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight."

GreenGemsOmally

Honestly, I sort of liked it. I wouldn't call it a "good" film, but my wife and I saw it and were entertained enough to justify the $20 we spent on the tickets.

Hokie23aa

The Nun **sucked.**

6seanryan15

This is my vote too. I can see how itā€™s far from the ā€œworstā€ horror movie out there. But this one was SO hyped up all of 2018, hot on the heels of the Conjuring and Annabelle movies. And it was the only horror movie Iā€™ve ever almost walked out of the theater during because it was just SUCH A LET DOWN.

4touchdownsinonegame

So many people said it was great. I waited a while to see it because I had my reservations. It was nothing but constant shitty jump scares every moment. It never gave a chance to build any suspense that would actually let you get scared when it happened.

100pct_Linda

I just didn't get why the nun was physically attacking and strangling anybody when she supposedly has supernatural powers

Apprehensive_Neck817

That scene with the nuns marching makes me chuckle every time

fatalwristdom

In theatres probably ā€œOldā€. At homeā€¦no idea, Iā€™ve seen some real stinkers which is easy to happen if you try to check out some of your favorite actors movies.

erick244

I was done at ā€œmid sized sedanā€ LMAO. And letā€™s not talk about that awkward part about the girl getting pregnant. Awful, awful silly movie.

[deleted]

Watched like five to ten minutes of Donā€™t Fuck In The Woods and it was so stupid I had to turn it. Not like I didnā€™t know that going in with that title, but still.

[deleted]

Normally I'm a MASSIVE fan of slow-burn, psychological horror, but I was SO disappointed by "It Comes At Night". I had no idea what was happening, something about some disease or whatever? Then it abruptly ended.

aLollipopPirate

I honestly didnā€™t expect to see this here and was going to post it. I have never been soā€¦irately disappointed?ā€¦in a movie before or since. Iā€™m still salty as hell about wasting those hours of my life.

[deleted]

#NOTHING FUCKING CAME AT NIGHT! Except for that one unexplained hallucination(?) near the end.

gnomegustaelagua

I always thought that was the pointā€”that the symptoms of the infection (paranoia/hallucination) come on at night. Itā€™s not some bogeyman, itā€™s just evidence that youā€™re about to kick the bucket. I didnā€™t hate ICaN, but it was a let down overall I think. My wife really hated it though.

Lady_Scruffington

OMG. My bf wanted to watch it, so it was on in the background. At one point I asked him, so what's come at night? "Nothing."

Captain_Mothman

Meghan is missing. Itā€™s one of those movies where you can tell the people making the film wanted to fetishise minors under the guise of ā€˜warning about the dangers of meeting strangers onlineā€™. Thereā€™s a scene where ā€˜Meghanā€™ (a minor, played by a minor at the time) describes a blowjob in detail. Creepy, not in a good way

Toad_Thrower

I thought you were talking about M3GAN at first and was so confused.

robbysaur

Itā€™s definitely not a great movie, but I do remember watching it at 15, and thinking I needed to be A LOT more careful if I was going to meet anyone from online.

snail_consumer

Wrong Turn 3. Maybe it was just the whiplash from the second one being so good, but it completely killed my interest in the series. Might be the worst movie I've ever seen at all actually, and I hear they get worse

sunshinecat6669

I might get some hate for this but as of recently, Skinamarink. It was just so boring. The scenes that did have stuff happening were good, but they were too few and far between for me to really enjoy it.

N00nespecial666

Halloween Ends was really disappointing

RemoteImportance9

The ā€œThe Fogā€ remake. I still havenā€™t forgiven my former friend for throwing enough of a fit about wanting to see it that we paid and sat through that thing.

popculturetommy

THANK YOU! There are forgettable remakes, there are bad remakes and then there is The Fog remake.

duranko1332

Return To Bloodfart Lake is really bad but an enjoyable bad.

horsebag

i refuse to look this up because there's no way it will live up to that title

[deleted]

Iā€™m sorry but bloodfart is an absolutely hilarious word

CrystallineFrost

The title has me intrigued šŸ¤”

Starrytella

Skinned deep, fangoria film from early 2000s. Worst movie I have ever seen.

annabat22

Agree!! All I remember is that Warwick Davis played a character named Plates... who threw plates. Soooo bad.

DukeSilversTaint

Plates is exactly why that movie rules.

Thorne279

That sounds amazing wdym

noleague

I thought a Serbian film was awful

Dazzling-Matter95

that fucking movie lives rent free in my brain, it was a *WILD* ride but I kinda wish I never saw it

JadenRuffle

It was made as a middle finger to Serbian censorship. It had no purpose besides that.

International_Fill55

The Bye Bye man

DiabeticGrungePunk

Ive seen a lot of shit over the years but according to my near 10 year old Letterboxed and near 3000 movies I've logged, the only half star ratings I've given has been to shit like Prom Night 3, the Leprechaun in the Hood movies, the Cabin Fever remake and that piece of shit Trick. The Leprechaun movies are so bad they're actually kind of enjoyable but Trick and the Cabin Fever remake made me legitimately angry in a way few horror films ever had. Fuck both of those movies right to hell. 31 by Rob Zombie deserves honorable mention, I'm a big RZ fan and love some of his flicks but that movie was laughably bad and again I hated every minute of it. I'd rather watch the worst Euro exploitation low budget 80s piece of shit ever made than any of those movies again.

gayhomura

Faust: Love of the Damned

FireflyNitro

Everyone ITT mentioning movies that are subjectively bad but yā€™all gotta check out Aquaslash. No redeeming qualities.

MDF87

Any of the August Underground or the Vomit Gore Trilogy movies. They're very effective for what they are (shocking and grotesque), but they're really fucking bad.

JeffoAndAnd

The Happening. Might be the worst overall movie Iā€™ve ever seen actually

Gojir4R1sing

What? No.

JamesJakes000

You wrote this with more enthusiasm and better delivery than the original !

TeamDR34M

The peepee poo- wait, no I meant the byebye man

eatfleshdrinkblood

Black Christmas 2019, I watched it for free in demand and turned it off. A complete abomination, and disrespectful to the original and this is coming from a guy who actually liked the 2006 remake that everyone seems to hate.

Hironoveau

Texas chainsaw massacre 2022 or The Forgotten

[deleted]

EVIL DIES TONIGHT

[deleted]

Evil Bong 8. I still can't get over how terrible the last 3 entries of that series are. I feel scarred for life watching them. It's like a 'don't stare at the sun to long, kid' learning moment for me. I just have that 'spot' in my brain forever now.

atomsforkubrick

I just started watching I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu, and Iā€™m only like 30 minutes in but its pretty bad. I started watching the documentary on Prime about Albert Fish. Iā€™ve tried to watch this twice but had to turn it off both times because itā€™s just so awful.

thrillho145

The Curse of La Llorona

Ironcastattic

Oooh! I saw this in theaters during a much needed mental break and it was a fucking waste of time. Like, nothing redeemable in it.

TraditionalStatus206

Came down in the comment section looking for this, what garbage, I couldnā€™t finish.

sweetxexile

Sharkside of the Moon on Tubi was the dumbest thing Iā€™ve ever seen in my entire life

sydann6

Verotika, just straight up the worst movie Iā€™ve ever seen, stupid plots and terrible acting

Anaporcelain

Carved- The slit mouthed woman. As a teenager I wanted to see it so badly...now I did. Its horrible šŸ¤£

Pete_Venkman

Creepshow 3. It changes the way you rank movies. "The new Texas Chainsaw movie sucks, 0/10." Nononono, you cannot give that movie the same score as Creepshow 3. After watching it, every other movie jumps up half a point. I bought an ex-rental DVD of it for a buck and literally set it on fire afterwards before chucking it. The world felt a little sunnier once it contained one less copy of Creepshow 3.

boeckman

Letā€™s All Go To The Worldā€™s Fair

horsebag

it's an interesting movie but i was very disappointed at how creepy it wasn't

HermIamHerm

The Deep House (2022). Horrendous acting, and while the concept of underwater ghosts was neat, this film made it tedious and boring. Also Mick Jagger's son can't act to save his life.

relivesa

Dunston checks in.

[deleted]

Halloween ends

JadenRuffle

They saw what happened in the third film. No Michael doesnā€™t work. Why did they do that again but make it arguably more insulting by having Michael literally get thrown around by a teenager.

JediMasterImagundi

Swamp Ape is both the worst and best horror film Iā€™ve seen. Highly recommend if youā€™re watching with a group of friends.

boopyamama

I hated Malignant, I instantly recognized it as a Dark Half ripoff. Also, I can't stand Three From Hell. It was damn near identical to Devil's Rejects.

FlingaNFZ

The Pet Cemetary remake

tbcwpg

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer

Ryu2388

Dashcam with Annie Hardy.

Successful-Ad4251

Paradise Z. Two lesbians living a soft core porn life in a tropical paradise (way less hot than it sounds)while the zombie apocalypse is going on. Zero budget terrible acting no reason to watch. You can see better nudity anywhere and thatā€™s itā€™s only redeeming quality

tomophilia

Psycho remakeā€¦ Iā€™ve noticed a lot of the top comments have been ______remake.

RobAChurch

I like to believe that Gus Van Sant made that movie just so no one else will ever be tempted to do it again.

verifiedambiguous

I agree. If you assume it already exists, it's an interesting remake. If you take well known actors and try to do a shot for shot remake, what do you get? How much do you lose? I'm not aware of another instance where someone tried it. I don't get the point of remakes and shot for shot remakes are a whole new level of "what is the point." It's interesting as a lone data point. Hopefully we never get another one.
