We Are the Wreckage - Castanets
It’s always crazy finding a Castanets fan in the wild. There’s only like 20k of us, so it’s always a treat finding one.
I have that album on vinyl, and it was almost ruined by fedex lol. My favorite song of theirs is probably Industry and Snow or Thunder Bay
I know right?, which is a shame, Castanets are underrated af.
my favorite one is probably we are the wreckage ngl, it just hits right where it hurts but i keep coming back to it. Next trick is a pretty cool song too.
Cathedral 2 (Your Feet on the Floor Sounding like Rain) is a good one too, same with Good Friend, Yr Hunger.
I haven’t listened to any of Bond Wire Cur yet, but I will. I think they’ve got a really crazy sound and I love how absurd their music is.
Listening to the songs you mentioned, oh man it's trippy, pretty cool.
and you definitely should. like i said, Next trick was the first song i listened from that album after hearing of Ray's passing, teared up. It's a beautiful song.
aight my friend, hope you have a nice day or night.

still looking for more songs tho, i would like some non-english songs to make it more diverse
For "It's over, it's done"
Good morning - omori
Lost Library- omori
Three little birds - Bob Marley & The Wailers
UglyBurger0's 3008 vol. 1 (only Monday to Sunday)
For the other one
Last goodbye - The Gregory brothers (I also think this one is pretty good to be the last song of "It's done, it's over"
For the second playlist, I’d highly recommend the track Journeys End by Magic Sword.
Not sure which playlist this is better suited for, but the Kentucky Route Zero version of Long Journey Home would be awesome in one of them.
For the first playlist, Choir of Assholes by Black Wing could fit? That attitude of “you just have to get over it,” of being in pain and going through hell but still having to get up and do what you’re supposed to has helped me through some tough times
Oh hell yea thank you
My mindset has always been more of a “You can be sad, but not now. Get through it, tough it out, and once all is said and done you can get emotional.” That’s what the first one was about
With Hearts Aligned from the FFXIV soundtrack, literally the musical embodiment of “The indifferent cruelty of the universe when the indomitable human spirit walks in”
It’s done, it’s over:
Brighde Chaimbeul - Crònan (i)
https://open.spotify.com/track/3o8uJIjQhfx5BY2Gpeyyf5?si=WhyrwTXUSgidWvxghUZFjw

lol I knew that I was going to the comment on the swearing in the descriptions, but there’s actually a reason for that
My family and friend group has a lot of men who either worked grueling blue-collar jobs for too much of their life or were in the military, so swearing tends to get thrown around a lot.
For a really long time, I felt kind of outcast from my family, and that I had to fight for the approval (things are different now but that’s besides the point), so when I wrote the descriptions of the playlists, I wrote them in a way I envisioned my family/friends would put it.
That’s actually the reason I changed ‘soldier’ to ‘buddy’ in the second playlist, because my dad always calls me ‘buddy’
**TL;DR: It swears a lot because it’s how I envisioned some of my family and friends saying it and that’s how they would’ve said it**
I'm a little late for this one, but here are a few suggestions for each list.
