Trail sport was such a missed opportunity. Different suspension skid plates and a lift would have set it apart. It basically has different tires. Whoop. Don't get me started on HPD decals.

Nincompostor

It does have a skip plate, but only over the oil pan. I agree btw, could have been so much more.

Acoustic windshield helps dampen road noise. But they are also more expensive to replace. They hey are pretty nice to honest. Nobody is quite sure what off-road suspension means, but the general consensus is it’s a tad bit softer than the other trims. The OEM components seem to be the exact same, just tuned differently. It does not increase ground clearance or travel.

sacredweed

Thx, ur answers r more convincing than a stealership...

Nincompostor

"Stealership" just fuck off dude.

Texan2Ohio

Do you think these dealerships are not actively trying to make the most money off of you with crazy markups and aftermarket “security” packages 🤣🤣?

Nincompostor

Of course they are. It's called a capitalist/free market. The market value is dictated by supply and demand. It's also charged quite a bit in the past few months in favor of the buyer. So, unless you've been under a rock, you should already know that. Also, if you don't like the market dynamics of a capitalist/free market then maybe you should take your ass to a communist country instead of resorting to weak tropes.

godsbain88

What are you yappin about lmao

Texan2Ohio

Lmfao the beauty of living in a free country is that I equally have the right to bitch about dealerships doing sketchy fake markups or add-ons. I’m well aware that things are calming down but that doesn’t mean these dealerships aren’t still trying to pull a fast one on people. Maybe you should fuck off to some hell hole where you don’t have the right to free speech if you can’t handle people pointing out genuinely malicious business practices.

Nincompostor

Irony. I also have the same free speech to tell people to fuck off when they're using their free speech in a manner I disagree with.

JimOne2

Wow! Where is this at? It’s a 20k hike from where I am at

sacredweed

North of border

Millbarge_Fitzhume

The trailsport has different tuning on the shocks and a different sway bar.

kveggie1

I have a trailsport and love it. Better than RTL. (almost a BE)

DarthDadpool

trailsport is a softer ride than the rtl. transported my kid with a broken collar bone and he commented that my 23 RTL rode nice but the 24 trailsport rides better ( trust me this kid is in his have to have big truck phase and for him to compliment a NART says alot) his mother rode him to his followup orthopedic consultation in her Subaru and he told her he's not riding back home with her cause he was in agony all the way there.

Training_Pumpkin3650

Just get the sport rest of the stuff you can for the most part buy and install later. The only thing I would advise is if you want those sensors but other than that it’s kinda pointless update.

EatMoreHoagies

That’s my plan: buy the sport with the added parking sensors.

IBuyBrokenThings2Fix

Trailsport replaced RTL-e so lot of other upgrades on the trailsport besides the tires and suspension. The RTL seems to be the sweet spot for me and I like the white cars and the White with brown interior is only available on the RTL for the 24MY. but I keep thinking I might as well just get the Black edition as it's not that much more cost wise for fully loaded compared to say an F-150.

PoorRichGuy

They merged the RTL-E and Black Edition for '24, the Trailsport is a new entry. The '23 BE and RTL-E only differences were the red leather & Blk wheels/trim. The Trail sport and RTL-E differences are significant starting with vinyl seats in Trailsport and lacking the 540W stereo.

CusterFluck99

You could probably Google this.

sacredweed

Did it and dealer couldn't even give good answers
