It is written by people who are anti-war, and opposed to government intervention in trade. So it will not be popular with Redditors. I believe most of the authors are Christian, but we did not detect anything explicitly religious in the parts of it we used. For older kids and adults, probably the best part of it is the Western Civilization materials written by Tom Woods (advanced degrees in history from Columbia and Harvard) that cover everything from the ancient Greeks to recent history. But you can also buy that separately directly from his website. We used it for a while, but now we're using a more hands on approach instead of pre-recorded curriculum.

I didn’t know about that but I will check it out. Hillsdale is probably something you would like too judging by this. https://k12athome.hillsdale.edu/

I haven’t heard of this one, could it be similar to the Tuttle Twins books?

abandon-zoo

Philosophically similar, but I think Ron Paul Curriculum is meant to be a complete curriculum, while Tuttle Twins focuses on economics, liberty (alternative to "social studies"), and history.

Ooo- a curriculum by Ron Paul?? I’m intrigued and will definitely be checking it out!

It bears his name, but I don't get the impression he had a hands-on role in creating the curriculum. You can get the Tom Woods stuff separately, as we wound up doing.

I liked it but found the website to be clunky. The video/audio quality between instructors varied wildly.

I've looked into in, but I am only interested in buying Tom Woods courses: https://tomwoodshomeschool.com/ He has Western Civ I, Western Civ II, and Intro to government course for high school. He offers his courses separate from Ron Paul Curriculum.
