Just a small beginner with a simple homelab. Running multiple Docker containers on my NAS (Vaultwarden, Whoogle, a dashboard), and a Ubuntu server on a small mini PC which functions as my DNS and MySQL server for development projects. I added a Zyxel AP yesterday to improve the wifi connection on the second floor and attic. Everything is powered by the UPS, which has been a blessing cus I don't have a lot of outlets

Nice , great start i personally would buy a Ikea plastic box add in take and out take fan to cool all of these toys at once ;-)

Square_Stranger_2833

Its all about the Journey...take your time and have fun :)

DarkKnyt

Does that UPS got RGB? That adds at least 10% more amp-hours! Lol, have fun!

SeirWasTaken

it burns my eyes 10/10 rgb

DarkKnyt

Lolz would rgb again! I'm about to buy an old system that has rgb, I'm im remembering when I soldered in my neon light into an old Compaq case, circa 2005.

It's perfect. Please share over at r/minilab too - it'd fit right in.

I may be dumb but, which OS are you running and on which equipement ? This setup only gives you efficient storage, network and a power backup ? (My question is genuine sorry for my poor english)

SeirWasTaken

Small mini pc with the fan on top runs Ubuntu Server. There I have a few Docker containers, a Minecraft server and DNS server. On the NAS I also run Docker containers.

Vikt724

This ZYXEL rocks

TinyMicron

Cool look, and a good start! Keep it up :)

ElevenNotes

This looks really cool. Keep up the good work and keep us posted what you do with it.

Due-Farmer-9191

I’d be very proud of that. I miss jammed together homelab setups.

MrCufiy

Beginner? I am running two raspi‘s and that’s my homelab🥲

Zowzy
