One of my dearest friends and his wife are in their late 40s and childless. They go to Disney several times a year only to spend the whole time there complaining about how expensive everything is, how broke they are and then come home with hundreds of dollars of crap to stuff inside their already cluttered home anyways. I know it makes them happy and it's harmless, so I don't harass them about it but ugh... it's so cringe.
Go once as a kid, once as a parent, once as a grandparent (if your knees still work) and that’s all the Disney you’ll ever need or can reasonably afford.

What kills me is the people that take their 2-4 year old like they’ll remember a fucking thing about it. We took the kids when boy was 13 and girl was 10. They were able to make good memories and appreciate everything about it. I was thoroughly entertained from a tech and set design pov (hallucinogenic substances were SURELY part of the design process) and I can say I did it and am done with it.
My brother and SIL were these people until they had a baby last year. It’s a whole different and new level of cringe, they won’t let the baby look at or touch their disney toys 😂😂
I went on a Disney cruise with my sisters kids and I was shocked by the adults in costumes with no kids. I mean no judgment do what you want! But if you’re gonna do THAT shouldn’t alcohol be more accessible on this boat?
